I had a bad experience with customer service today. I have been buying everything that I need for my home repairs from Lowe’s and returning it if it’s only extra. I usually keep the receipt in the mail and in the app. Today the old lady at customer service raised her voice at me, saying I need a receipt even though I showed her the receipt that I have in my purchase history in the app. She stared at me and raised her voice, saying receipt, and also she asked me for the card that I used (it’s in my wallet Apple Pay); she also told me to tap it. I never had such an experience with Lowe’s; usually, everything went smoothly with other customer services. Luckily, there was a young lady there to help me out with my return. That old lady should be working somewhere else where she doesn’t have to interact with the customers if she has such an attitude and if she doesn’t know what the Lowe’s app is for. BTW, the other cashiers at checkout are very helpful and friendly.
