Hours: Marathon Gas is a rare gas station downtown, convenient to Mass Ave. It offers packaged alcohol, Hemp derived Delta products, and a variety of other merchandise, and is probably the best convenience option next to DGX. The convenience store has the KDP $1.49 2-liter soda brands like Sunkist, RC Cola, and Tahitian Treat, plus 2-for-$1 bags of Lay's snacks. Excellent customer service was noted; a friendly, helpful, and professional staff member even gave a cup of ice water for a dog. However, one pump on the end was out of order, and prices were a touch higher than some other stations in city limits. Gas prices are becoming prohibitive. Functioning air was available but cost $1.75. A homeless guy outside was chill, and a gas station guy asked if a shivering customer was ok, which was nice.
