So this may be a trigger for many in this day and age but it doesn't make it any less true, I've been homeless living in my car for the past 5 month's so i travel around the city every day and i have been a customer in at least 40 different gas stations throughout the indy area, And every single gas station that is owned and ran by Indians are scamming the public, They are over pricing the food and drinks, They go to grocery stores and buy their products and remove the labels and jack up the prices, Some of the more ignorant ones have Kroger brand milk or milk from other grocery chains or department stores on display in the cooler cases and if you have been to Kroger or aldis, Save-a-lot or any other food chain more than once you know what brands they carry, Or you know what type of plastic containers they have their bakery products in or around about how much that milk is in that particular store at that time but they buy it at retail cost, remove the labels usually its the sale items that have about 1 day before it expires and they store it in the back room until they decide to place it out for sale and they don't inspect the item for mold or if its hard or whatever and then they jack up the price, One guy was trying to sell 2 % milk from Kroger for $6.00 a gallon, One single can of Vienna sausages was almost $4.00 per can at another gas station, And most recently i figured out another scam they are perpetrating onto the unsuspecting public, I was trying to figure out if any of them were price gauging on the gas but unfortunately i haven't witnessed that taking place, Either that or i haven't noticed it because the gas prices keep changing periodically, Having said that i have noticed something they are doing at many gas stations on different sides of town, And I'm not really sure of how they are doing it or what they are gaining from this but its happened to me 5 times already at different gas stations all ran by indians, You go in to get gas and you tell the clerk you want X amount of gas on whatever pump your on, You pay and walk out to your car, About 95% of the cars use regular unleaded gasoline so you push the number 87 which is for unleaded, But how many of us watch the number 87 light up before we start pumping? I know i never did until this happened to me a number of times recently, But i pushed the 87 and just did something random while it was pumping, But i noticed the number 87 wasn't lit up, It was the premium gas that was lit up, And after this happened multiple times at random gas stations i started paying closer attention to which one was lit up, The last two times it happened i went into confront the clerk and conveniently they don't speak English all of a sudden, Once was at 38th & high school rd at the marathon gas station and just a couple of days ago it happened at the Valero Gas station at Sherman and east Michigan street on the East side, But this last time i confronted the clerk before i even pumped the gas and he tried arguing with me on the matter but thankfully i believe it was the owners son stepped in and reset the pump, But I've racked my brain trying to figure out what the scam is and the only thing i can come up with is they are putting it into the system as regular unleaded but turning on the premium pump and pocketing the money that was extra from the difference from regular unleaded to premium unleaded, I could be wrong about that particular scenario but its something like that, I mean why else would that happen at many other gas stations all over the city? If it was just once or even twice it could be argued that it was a pump or even a computer malfunction but to happen as many times as its happened to me that's not a coincidence or a computer malfunction, That's a clerk malfunction.
