Beware! They add a $30 fee to check your retina with images insteading of dilating your pupils where’s there’s no charge! You should give your customer options and not assume we are ok with spending the extra $30. That’s a scam! Charging $30 without every customer approval looks good to your bottomline

Second year in a row I had to return because my contacts were messed up. I am definitely looking for a new eye doctor.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I have insurance and was forced to pay $79 for frames that actually fit when I was originally quoted at $40. I was promised to received the glasses in 10 days but it took 3 weeks. I picked up my glasses and then found they didn’t have an anti glare film on the glasses. When I called, I was threatened with receiving imperfected lenses or frames next time I order glasses if I didn’t want to wait and also was told I’d have to pay $45 more to get my glasses with the film and wait even longer to get my glasses. I have made a formal complaint with their corporate office because of the rudeness and lack of attentiveness in the service they provided to me and may even seek legal counsel for this terrible service. If you don’t bring up that you need to pay for the anti-glare film, people automatically assume it comes with that since it’s pretty much the standard now. This is definitely the worst experience I have ever had in ANY store and easily tops the worst experience at an optometrist. This is the first and only one star rating I have ever given in my life. This is a mistake on their part that I will have to deal with for two years. BEWARE AT ALL COSTS!!

Dr. Clark and his staff at MyEyeDr (at 105 South Raceway Rd. Indianapolis) are professional and friendly, which is a great combination. I am new to the area and truly appreciated their kindness. The machines they use to test your eyes look very new and state of the art. I liked the fact they didn’t seem to need to put dilating drops in my eyes. (It is not very fun driving home after a person’s pupils have been dilated.) I think the best doctors are the ones that are conscientious as well as good communicators. Dr. Clark did a fantastic job answering my questions. I spend my days working at a computer so having razor sharp vision is important to me. When being examined, I am often a bit indecisive when given two different choices and I will typically ask the doctor to show me the previous option again. Dr. Clark was very patient and gracious with me which I very much appreciated. I found the customer service there to be exceptional. There was a small issue with the contacts for my right eye, which they went “above and beyond” to quickly resolve the issue. I was very impressed! I also received new glasses that were mailed to my home. When I tried them on, the clarity was perfect. My husband (who is a meteorologist) spends a lot of time working at a computer as well. He went to see Dr. Clark and he is happy with his prescription. He thought the doctor was thorough and knowledgeable. We are both very pleased with our experience at MyEyeDr.

They arent honest in their dealings. I had a pair of prescription eye glasses getting set up with them. They told me to drop the sunglasses off the next day. I tried to go into the store and when I tried to open the door it was locked and they just stared at me for a minute. When the lady came to the door, she just said, "who are you" and took the glasses. There was no communication. The delivery date got rescheduled 3 times. Also except for the frames, none of the original items (lenses, expensive case) were returned to me. When I spoke with the lady there, she told me, "Well how would I know which one was your case?" and "Nobody ever wants their old lenses." Ok I guess you get to make that decision without speaking to me about it...? If I were to buy a new car, the dealer doesnt just magically obtain ownership of my old car. Not great people there. Complaint has been filed.Edit: Can you not read? I already contacted MyEyeDr headquarters and received nothing back. Youre obviously an entirely poorly run company with no concern for the customer. And you still stole my lenses.

Had been to another Ossip location in years past with great luck, relocated to Avon and decided to not only go myself but also recommended them to my husband. Unfortunately I'll be making the drive to the Southport location for my next exam and purchases! My exam went fine and was done in under 30 minutes since my prescription is pretty straight forward, however the selection of frames is definitely lacking compared to other locations. Finally selected a pair from the few racks they offer and received a text stating that my new glasses were ready for pickup on Saturday morning. Drove to the office and when I approached the door two female staff I recognized from my appointment were at the front desk... As they saw me approach they fled from the front desk to behind the hallway/doorway to the right of the desk and then peeked around the corner when I got to the door and noticed it was locked. They made eye contact a second time and then walked again behind the wall laughing. Luckily a male staff member came to the door as I was preparing to leave and gave me my glasses. I would not have been upset at all if the ladies just came to the door and advised that they were closed or could not process anything on a Saturday, but playing rude and childish games cost them any future business from my family as well as ensuring that I will recommend other offices to everyone I know.
