I don't like to make it a practice of doing reviews at all, let alone negative ones, however, I just couldn't let this one go. Long story short, after visiting other dealerships around Indianapolis, my daughter and I came to Napleton Hyundai of Carmel as they had a car listed for sale that I was interested in purchasing for my daughter. After test driving the car, which we both really liked and were prepared to do a little negotiation for. The sales representative started asking me questions such as how much money I make, my Social Security number etcetera. I knew that they were going to run a credit check on me which is fine, however, I've never seen a practice where a dealership will run credit before coming back with an offer, not only on the car we wanted to purchase but also on the Honda Odyssey that we wanted to trade- in. This of course results in a hard inquiry to a credit Bureau and actually drop my credit slightly, which is fine and I'm not too upset about, but where things got really bad is when the representative came back with a sheet with all the numbers on it from "her manager". On the left side of the sheet were estimated payments per month based on the number of months that you wanted to finance for. On the right was the actual breakdown of the numbers. Not only was the sales price of the car exactly the same as the sticker price, but there was a miscellaneous charge of over $3,000 for some type of "special 190 point inspection" that they do on the car, which I was never told about at any time, but also a $899 charge for cloth protection of some sort, which we also never discussed. Finally, the trade-in value of the van was listed as $4,500. (Note that up to this point I've received offers of over $11,000 from other dealerships on a trade in). Unfortunately, this is a dealership that gives used car salesman and the entire car buying process a terrible name. I will never go back to this dealership nor ever recommend that anybody I know do so. Don't waste your time going here.

First time leasing a car from Napleton Hyundai and it was the best experience we have had at any dealership …ever. Great pricing and the best customer service. Jordan, Holly and Dean treated us like we had been coming there for years. No pressure and very transparent. Once we agreed to lease a Tucson, the transaction was completed quickly and we were on are way. The car has great features and they walked us through them all. Napleton Hyundai was the right choice.

Unprofessional, pushy sales staff. Came to purchase a car listed as “on the lot” to find out the car was still in transit. The salesperson insisted I buy a different model or just purchase the car without first seeing it. Declined multiple times and had to ask for my keys for the vehicle I was planning to trade in 5 or 6 times so I could leave. Each time I asked for my keys, the salesperson tried to push another vehicle on me and refused to give me my keys. A person who claimed to be the general manager followed me to my car and has since been calling and texting. Wildly unprofessional behavior and inability to understand the word “no.” Would not recommend. Anyway, here’s a photo of the same vehicle I purchased from Hyundai of Noblesville the same day. Called at 12pm, visited at 2:30pm, was out by 5pm. Excellent service and selection at Hyundai of Noblesville.

Very disappointed. I saw a car I was interested in on a facebook advertisement for over a week. I called this morning and made an appointment to see that vehicle and test drive it, I was told it would be ready to drive upon my arrival. I arrived and was greeted by a sales man who was working with another couple, he said he would find someone to help me and I told him I had a 2:15 with Aaron. I did not see Aaron, a different man came out to tell me that the car I SCHEDULED the appointment for just this morning, was unavailable because it had been loaned out for a service customer to drive, but he had other vehicles he could show me. I felt like it was the old "bait and switch" sales technique. I drove over an hour to see and drive this car that I made an appointment for. I will not return or recommend this dealership. Do better Naplet in Hyundai.

Roommates car has been in for 5 weeks. They keep running tests, get same result, no solution. The corporate tech line wants to charge $1000 for two injectors for a crap knock sensor issue that pops up every time it goes into a car wash or through a puddle in rain. This issue started while under its bullshit 100k warranty. Mind you the knock sensor is a known issue on their cars. So of course they don't want to cover the cost for crap manufacturing. Asked the tech if this would 100% guarantee a fix, no this is where they want to start. 5 weeks after having the car with no solution. Sorry but this location and company are a joke.

The philosophy of this dealership is not to sell cars but to rip off buyers as much as they can.Unlike other dealerships, this dealership sells cars with makups or market price adjustments.This dealership has one price on the website, but when you walk in the price changes. The discounts that Hyundai is offering pose as their discounts.Once you refuse to pay markups instead of negotiating a price dealership has specialists to persuade that every dealership charges market adjustments and everyone pays them. They look down on you and talk down to you once they understand that they won't be able to squeeze a few thousand dollars into you. Look out for a catchphrase like "You don't expect to walk in our dealership and pay window sticker price", "everyone pays market adjustments" or any other phrases that discourage you from the purchase.Out of an hour and a half spent in this dealership I wasted about 40 minutes waiting for a salesperson to be on the phone instead or busy with something else but not with me.I would certainly recommend reasonable buyers to stay away from this dealership. I also would certainly not recommend wasting your time with these people and finding decent car sellers who truly and sincerely deserve your business.As for the management of NAPLETON Hyundai of Carmel: you don't promise to sell without markups over the phone and don't slam people disrespectfully with markups after 3,5 hours of driving, people who bring big checks to feed families of your employees.I also should have been informed about ALL recent promotions, not inform you about promotions such as "free charging station and credit toward charger installation". This also shows a lack of care for your buyers.I am taking my business somewhere else. Don't apologize if you are not going to solve the problem and I am not going to call you.

The buying experience at Napleton was above par. Jordan Ahmad was my sales associate and he was amazing. I highly recommend him for many reasons. I had an idea of the car that I was most interested in and I had done some research but needed to learn more. He did not disappoint and I am very satisfied. He is very knowledgeable on the car, the overall auto industry, trends and current market. Jordan patiently stepped through all the options on the car and answered my questions without rushing me. Some questions I asked a few times :). He was not pushy or aggressive and he took the time to connect and understand what was important to me. Along the way, he provided insight on things that I should think about as I consider the car purchase. I typically have anxiety when purchasing a car; fortunately I did not experience any of that. I was at ease and consider this buying experience to be the best ever. I have purchased many cars over the years and none of them compare. Overall everyone in the dealership was friendly and the final finance process was very smooth. The dealership has a very cohesive customer buying process.

Took my 19yr old here tonight to buy his first car, Daniella went above and beyond to not only find my child the perfect car for them, but made sure he stayed under his cash budget. She is the absolute best salesperson I EVER had the pleasure to work with but I can’t give enough 5 stars to Napleton for making this the easiest car buying experience. Daniella really took the time to find exactly what we were looking for, she gave us the opportunity to drive numerous vehicles before we found the right fit!! I highly recommend working with her in the future!!

When we arrived, we had a car in mind and Jaun Moore immediately took care of us, unfortunately the car we wanted had been sold but Juan found the next best one which was still the make we wanted. He was super friendly, down to earth, informative, customer oriented, respectful, funny and all around made our car buying experience great. We love our new SUV and definitely will be coming back for any future vehicles we buy. Definitely ask for Juan, you won't regret it!

These guys care about their customers and they know their products. This was my first time at Napleton Hyundai, but it definitely won’t be my last. I’m always nervous around sales people, but Donntez put me at ease and was genuinely great to work with. He asked me what I was look for, discussed the features and took me for a test drive, and made the process stress free. I never felt pressured, and I was given a great price for my trade in (plus a Hyundai loyalty promo)! Everyone at the dealership was polite and helpful, and another salesman Jordan even got me signed up for a free charging promo while Donntez handled my paperwork. I couldn’t recommend them enough!Edit: I had to make a quick edit to thank Juan too. He saw me testing out the charger for the first time and came over to check in on me. He spent more than 15 minutes making sure my apps worked and were optimized to find the best charging stations, and helped me adjust the menus for ease of use. The sale was over and done, but the great service doesn’t stop!

Avoid this place at all costs. They take advantage of families and have the worst customer service and communication. When they take advantage of you they'll offer you a "better option" if you're willing to open your wallet and pay them more money. This was my first purchase out of state and it couldn’t have gone any better. I received a call from Aaron the sales manager and he spoke with me about the vehicle I was interested in and answered every question. Very personable as well as professional. He set me up with an awesome sales rep name Daniella. Daniella went above and beyond and had everything ready for me when I arrived. She also answered every question I had and what stood out the most is how easy going she was to talk to on personal but yet professional level. If you are looking for a new vehicle you need to go see Daniella and she will help you get into a vehicle.

Nadeem was such an amazing help. He did everything in his power to get me a better working vehicle so that I could leave the company happy. To his success he definitely gave me what I was looking for in my price range. 10/10 recommend him.
