Website showed the part I needed was in stock at this location so I drove 40 minutes. A couple people behind the counter had a particular strange smell..on top of that the part wasn't available in store. Instead I ordered from another parts dealer with free overnight shipping.

Yea i went there last week to get a battery and check on a price for a alternator and it ended up costing me $240 bucks just for the battery, But i got $20 of that back for the core charge, Thankfully a buddy of mine owns a car lot up the street and had the exact type of alternator i needed so i got it from him and he installed it for me for a fee, either way i was getting reamed in price but it had to be done , But normally i dont shop at O'Reilly's because the prices seem to he much higher there than at Auto Zone or at Nationwide Auto and don't get me started on places like Pep Boys or some of the others that jack up the prices even though its the exact same parts the others have, Makes no sense to me.

Counter people are clueless , no knowledge of the inventory and unwilling to look it up , personal conversations while customers are waiting . Put a fork in this location, it’s finished .

Very disappointed with the three young men behind the counter today at about 1:15pm. They were busy talking with each other (no client was at the counter) and when I was finally acknowledged, I asked if he could help me with a fuse for my car. His abrupt and rather short answer was that fuses were on aisle 4 and then went back to his conversation. After spending several minutes looking for it, they didn't have the one I was looking forso I left. Not a word was said to me as I walked out the door, no thank you, no sorry we didn't have what you were looking for, nothing. If my business is not that important to O'Reilly, I am sure AutoZone across the street will be happy to have it.Just a bit of advice from someone who has worked in customer service all of my life, show a little effort with your customers and they will keep coming back.
