DIY crafting location for all things glass, pottery & wooden painted art! This was my first visit and it's a LOT to take in!I arrived thinking I'd either paint a mug or create a glass art, winter scene... However, after the tour, and realizing glass art was a separate area from the wooden and pottery painting I decided on the mug. Defeats the purpose of going with a friend if you have to text them from across the room the whole time! ;)

They are very accommodating and helpful. Great place to go with the family or on a date. They have so much to do. Along with drinks, snacks, beer, and wine. We always have an amazing time.

The staff is super friendly. The smells for the candles are AMAZING and they have so many cute jars to put them in. The pottery gets done quickly too. They said the four I had would take about a week to fire but they were ready to be picked up way before then

Mrs Helen Fx She's wonderful! She helped me get my first profit. She made the entire process smooth and I felt completely supported after investing the minimum of $1,000 she made over $13,500 for me in a week. I highly recommend her to anyone who’s planning on joining the crypto currency market. Contact her Email:

I loved it here. The staff was friendly and engaging, and helpful. I did the glass art and they had a ton of materials to work with. It was so much fun and only took about a week for my piece to be complete.

The vibe is awesome. The workers, however, are my favorite part. They are kind to customers and each other, and they made me feel supported while I was painting pottery. I'm putting in a pic of the bathroom because it was so rad.

We decided to surprise our son during Spring Break and took a trip to Indy just to give Pottery By You a try. He loved the experience! The staff was super friendly, and even though they had quite a few guests due to Spring Break, they made sure every guest was taken care of and having a good time. They offer so many options, from painting, to sign making, to glass mosaic, and even candle making! Prices were very reasonable and the experience definitely left a lasting impression on our young artist.

My two kiddos (10 & 8) had been begging for a return visit to this business. We had a lot of fun on our first trip here a year ago when we painted ceramics together and have been enjoying the art we created in different ways ever since. Note: my son and daughter had painted ceramic snake and cake slice containers while I had painted a brain (haha) that hangs on our living room wall. It is honestly one of my favorite art pieces in our home!Unfortunately the visit we made almost two weeks ago on a Saturday was not as pleasant or enjoyable as our previous one and I think it may have had more to do with the poor customer service & time of day we visited than the painting itself. Yes, weekends at businesses such as this are going to be busy, this business also offers parties, which is why we tried our best to get there earlier in the day. But the atmosphere seemed rushed, hectic, and the staff were using (what felt like) yelling voices to explain the paints and process to patrons. They said "let us know if you had questions" but when we had questions, the younger staff member used a condescending voice when replying or rushed away leaving us more confused than we were before. At one point, my 8 year old was on the verge of tears due to a mistake she felt she made in painting and I had remembered how kind the male owner had been on our previous visit so I suggested (while standing helping my son) for her to ask him for help. When he came over to our table, he began to talk loudly and draw attention to us in an uncomfortable way so others were staring. When I tried to explain what my daughter was needing, her crying at this point, he said loudly "well you have to tell me or I don't know!!" and walked away. He never came back, though we waited patiently thinking he would. I will say, one woman was incredibly kind and DID help us fix the mistake and even brought candy for the kids. She complimented my daughter and let her know the mistake was okay. Some takeaways: ceramic painting for children can be a lot of fun, but it is time consuming (it takes three layers that have to be completely dried in between) so you may want to come on a weekday afternoon or evening. I also wish the staff had the tables further apart so that it didn't feel so crowded. You have to constantly ask other patrons to politely move their chair or say "excuse me" while bumping into tables, squeezing through spaces, etc to dry your ceramic piece. And finally: this is a good business, I think we just came on a very bad day when the staff may have felt overwhelmed. We unfortunately didn't finish our work this trip but plan to come back another time to do so, maybe on a weekday!

It has been several years since I had been to Pottery By You. Since that time, they have added the soy candles. I took my girlfriend tonight for a ladies night out and we had a blast! Her comment was “I feel like a scientist” as we were mixing the scents. We will definitely be back and bringing more friends!

This was a great time & a great place to scratch that artsy itch. They've got a great novice friendly setup & process. Prices are up front & clearly posted. Just pick your pottery & your colors & go for it. Did this to celebrate my daughter's birthday & it was a great time for all.

A great place to visit in Indy. Whether you go as a family, group of friends or just with your shadow (hopefully sunny enough for that!). Making gifts? Christmas Ornaments? Glass, Bisque, Wood, etc...? Expert advice is always available, yet, you can work independently to explore your creative side. I found the ability to just walk-in, without an appointment, to be a big plus. Sometimes, you don't know how creative you are feeling until the last minute. First time, I went after lunch, but food/drinks are very reasonably priced. The whole experience and friendly environment is well-worth the half-hour drive for me...Five-and-a-half-stars!!
