I had an appointment at this location today and was taken back 4 minutes after my applicant time. My doctor had faxed over extensive orders for labs which took a long time for the gentleman whose name I believe was Jim, to enter and scan and the computer didn’t save anything. He had to retype and scan everything in. We were both frustrated but he was very patient and friendly re-entering everything. I was fasting and had 16 vials of blood drawn and became a little flushed and lightheaded and he got me a cold pack and water and had me sit until I felt better and followed me to the door to make sure I was ok on my feet. I sincerely appreciate the time he took with me today in a frustrating situation with a crowded waiting room. Made a not so fun experience much better. Thank you!

The experience of checking in was SOOO painful, I came very close to going anywhere else! Although I scheduled online & got a confirmation code, the kiosk to check in did NOT recognize me. THREE TIMES! It finally took but I will not be here again. I do not recommend Quest Diagnostics.

The male phlebotomist is kind, gentle, and professional. Sorry to have forgotten your name (Steve?).

We made an appointment as the customer service line insisted we needed an appointment in order to complete this particular test. It took 3 days to get an appointment and our experience with Quest was a complete, extreme nightmare.
1) Our tech was unable to locate the fax our provider sent 3 days prior and was immediately defensive and aggressively insistent this was our fault. We've had issues with this facility "not finding" faxes sent over before, and our provider was sure to send the fax to this location as well as 2 other Quest locations in this area as a backup.
2) We asked the tech to reach out to the other facilities in order to use what they received. He continued to be incredibly rude but confirmed he would call. He said they didn't receive it either (a lie as he later admitted he didn't bother to call) and urged us to get out so he could move on. We were so shocked by his tone and volume (as were others in the waiting room)
3) We called our provider (who was closed but was watching the phone knowing we had this appointment and have had issues with this facility before) and they confirm they sent it to the correct fax number for this facility in addition to the other Quest facilities we requested. We also drove to one of the other Quest facilities and they were easily able to locate it. Their wait time was over an hour so we took their paper copy of the fax to the original facility (even though this facility has refused to accept paper copies of orders before when they've lost faxes) and had that Quest facility fax it back to the other one as additional proof.
4) By this time it was an hour past our appointment time and we were now considered a walk-in. The kiosk was kind enough to point out we should have booked an appointment ?
5) The tech, seeing our paper copy from the other facility and quickly realizing he was caught in the lie, admitted to not bothering to call the other facilities.
6) We finally got in the chair to perform the blood test (1.5 hours after we started) and were then told the test could only be performed Monday-Thursday and that we'd have to come back 3 additional days later.
We left completely wiped, still in need of this critical, time-sensitive test and with no path to timely care.
In desperation we tried IU Health's lab down the street who confirmed they could run the test, accepted us as a walk-in, registered our info, accepted the paper order copy, and had the test completed all in less than 15 minutes. Our provider received the results in less than 6 hours!
Quests policies incentivize employees to be incredibly rude as they are so pressured for time. I have never had a good experience with Quest, and this experience is the pinnacle of every reason why.

The gal that took care of me was great. There is a guy I think his name is Jeff that is horrible. I know it would be beneficial to schedule an appointment but if you are coming straight from your doctor’s office you can’t. He makes it sound like you won’t get waited on you unless you do or it will take hours if you don’t. I had another experience with him another time where iHe was not professional at all. It’s hard to take blood from me so I have them use a butterfly needle he refused so I let him take it with regular needle The next one I said use the butterfly and he refused and told me not to tell him how to do his job.

I've witnessed that not having an onsite receptionist or physical person is very frustrating to the elder customers I've witnessed that don't interact well with the kiosk and virtual check-in process.

Lady with 2 year old baby boy that was growing impatient from Myanmar had waited over an hour for her Uncle to tested. She had been inappropriately advised to go to the wrong facility ( Should have been at Community Hospital> Had I & another woman had intervened Who know how long she would have had to wait before the staff had asked ?

I have to say they have the worst medical billers. I keep getting a bill and they never send to my secondary insurance. When you call it is always a foreigner whom speaks and understands poor english.

Check in was fine. I didn't wait very long. The issue was a blown vein. I've had my blood drawn lots of times over the years and never had a blown vein. I won't be returning to this location .
