All the employees are great, helpful and friendly. My issue is there is no expiration date on any of the refrigerated drinks. The Nathan's Frozen French fries are 8 months past expiration. We only come here for Conecuh Sausage, and for that I give 4 stars.

Went there on Monday to grab some bacon the man was standing at the door and stated we are closed I then said y’all closing early he said yes I asked if I could run and get my bacon he was very rude and nasty maybe he was the owner or manager while I understand he was closing due to being short staffed as a general manager myself I get it however I don’t get being rude about it the grocery store is already pricey and one of the closest in the neighborhood so if those people keep you open then why be rude !!! I know I’m only one customer but I spend a lot of money in there but not anymore I’ll take the trip to be treated right where I spend my hard earned money !!!!

This is a great little neighborhood grocery. They have hot fresh food in the back and the fried chicken and ribs are really good.
They have great deli and a really good selection of meats.
Everyone that works there is always so nice. I work near and visit a few times a month wether it be for lunch or just milk on my way home, I've never been disappointed.

A friend of mine wanted chicken from safeway so she took several orders from coworkers and went to the one on Kessler.
I gave her a $20 bill for my order.
The chicken total was $7.96 When my friend got back with my order she handed me a dollar and some change. The cashier put in 10.00 instead of $20.
I called the store and the manager said that the cashier was not over the previous day. Her drawer should have been over 12.04.
I really hate dishonest people and dishonest business.
It's a shame people are not honest.
The only way her drawer was not over is if she pocketed the money.
I won't be going back to this store.
This is totally ridiculous and senseless!!!

This place is expensive. But the hot food selection is worth a try. The fried chicken is my favorite. Also, some days, the hot food selection switches up.

Love all Safeways, they are expensive but if you want a true 1980's grocery store experience go here. Although most are in the hood.

Go have pork chop sandwich for under $3.
I get one when I am on that side of town.
Also pork tenderloins on request.
