This morning (8/21 at Approx. 7am) I went in to buy an energy drink before a meeting. I walked up to the register & before I could even say good morning, the cashier (an older, African American male) started making fun of my suit, said that I was “too big” for it, & that I should take it off & change into something else before anybody else sees me. I laughed it off but I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
Not sure where he gets off making fun of customers, but it was incredibly rude.

The guy that works nights he is shorter and light skinned. And the guy that drives the beat up van are very racist. My friend and I went in there to get stuff and my friend was deciding what he wanted and the guy that drives the beat up van and the short hair light skinned guy called the police. I come in there everyday and never ever had a problem. But I will not be back. Other than that everyone else is great!

This gas station is constantly an issue. I’m done stopping here . All the pumps make you go inside to pay. The parking lot is always messy. I don’t understand how they expect to garner business.

This gas station is terrible, they are selling bad products, I think all the pumps are regular gas!!!!!!! Messed up my vehicle!!!!!!!!! If I could give it ZERO STARS I WOULD . MY CAR IS IN THE SHOP!!!!!!!

I like this place. Salespeople work fast, are polite, are helpful when asked... and I've personally never witnessed (or heard stories from locals) of employees possibly attempting to short-change customers (that's not something I'd say about every gas station where I've bought stuff in the past.)Just be aware that if you're using the Food Mart as a convenience store, then you're probably paying ~25% more in price; when compared to a more "normal" store (ie, a less busy store that isn't a gas station, located on a major intersection.)

The service is trash! The inside is Cramped and Dirty, Flies, Roaches all around the Pop/Coffee machines. Parking lot stays with trash littered everywhere. Oh! I forgot to mention the poor, rude, and racist employees. Not to mention the overpriced items as well. All in All I give this Slum station a BIG FAT 0/5 stars!!! Keep driving to the next gas station you’ll thank me.

The other i went there to get gas and they charged my card twice and said it declined i showed him the money was taken off he still telling it was declined i called my bank they said after its not pending anymore if my money not back on mh account they will refund it so wheather my money goes back by itself or my bank put it back on im not spending my money at the shells on 71st and 79thand Michigan road Cuz the same man owns both last year i seen 3 ppl come in there complaining about this very same thing this have been going on for years it didn't bother me til now when it happen to me so if the owner don't care enough about his customers to fix this problem then me as a customer don't care to spend my money with them
