Horrible customer service. Don't act like you care after getting a bad review. You should've cared when you were talking to me. Enterprise is cheaper and they have good customer service. I recommend going there instead.

Renting a car because my car is at the dealership…. Get put in a truck and as soon as I get home i get a notice that an AirTag has been following me the whole time?!? Is this how business is conducted?? I found it and best of luck to anyone trying to get a person on the phone…. Impossible!!! This is scary!!!!Follow up: got a call from the local shop and they made it right and accepted fault for a item left behind from a previous rental but went above and beyond to make it right. Thanks for doing good business.

DON’T USE AND DON’T PREPAYI’d like to start with…I’d suggest professional training for the store manager Jared or hire another store manager for customer service reasons. I walked into Sixt and found him and another guy “frolicking”, neither acknowledge me as a customer and they both walked into their offices. My flight was delayed due to “logistical issues” with the airline, completely out of my control. I “prepaid” for my rental online and learned that I couldn’t get my reservation cost altered, despite what customer service told me. I contacted customer service when my first flight was delayed (before my reserved time) and communicated with them every time I was informed.The woman at the desk was nice and explained the policy. She indicated the manager, Jared, could assist in offering a credit or refund. At first, he refused to come out of his office that is 25 steps away, to talk with me. Then he came out rude and short, not offering any customer service but a lot of “you should have read the FAQs” and fine print before you signed. He even went on further to attempt to provoke me to his low level by saying “you don’t have to rent here” but noted he wouldn’t give me a refund. And told me he couldn’t print anything for me because the printer isn’t for customers to have documentation from the company. He is not a good representation of this company and the reviews confirm that. He’s not a customer facing manager. It was only my second time renting from Sixt but I won’t anymore and I’ve informed my dealership, who referred your company, of my dissatisfaction with Jared and the salesman had heard bad reviews before. Jared will cost your company money in the long run. Find a better manager that values customer service, diversity, and protecting the quality of the Sixt business.

Had a great experience. There was some confusion (mostly on my part) as to the cost of an upgrade. It would have ended up costing me an extra $140. I called, and they quickly resolved the issue. Much appreciated.

Not a big fan. The service was fair and the price was on par with other rental companies but the truck was older and not very clean. Not to mention all the rusted nails in the bed.

Be aware that the SYXT rent a car charging predatory exuberant fees.Simple 25 cents tall mistake becomes $150 penalty.Renting for 1 day from SYXT rent a car became costly mistake.In addition their help desk have no clue what is going, waste of time calling.Aroid or you go broke.

The Franchise Owner/Regional Manager LOVES to duck dodge customer service complaints! I would absolutely NEVER rent from Indianapolis area SIXT. They will tack on extra fees and change the daily rate on your reservation. And when you try to discuss it with them, they will essentially plug their ears and pretend as if you're not even trying to reach them. 0/10

Renters beware!! I rented a charger from Sixt at the Phoenix Airport. I went out to get in the car and it had dents and scratches. I went back into the building and told them I did not want the vehicle. It was damaged. They said there were no other Chargers. I asked them to come outside to see the dents. The agents were too busy on their phones . They said the damage was documented. I received a bill for 800.

I was having some work done at the Tom Wood Subaru dealer next door and the dealer comped a rental car for me since the Dealership owner also owns that Sixt Car location. Happy about that, but the Chevy Malibu I was given clearly smelled like smoke and while the car had been vacuumed out before I got it, it had clearly not been cleaned. Cup holders and door cards had dryed spilt soda all over them, and the door jams were all muddy plus finger prints all over the windows. Clearly, the staff that clean the cars take no pride in their work. If I had to actually pay for the rental, I would avoid this place. I do wanna thank Tom Wood Subaru, but Sixt Car Rental needs to have a little chat with the staff.

RENTERS BEWARE!! Rented a Toyota Camry the middle of Feb/22 . Upon picking up the vehicle (Fort Myers Airport) the passenger side of the vehicle had dented damage from front to back including a loose front bumper that had to be reset in place each time we parked. I should have never excepted the vehicle in such condition but rentals were limited. After going over the list of 30/40 things that were listed wrong with it, I thought it was all noted. Upon return, the agent that checked the vehicle back in almost immediately walked to a small 2 inch dent on the rear passenger wheel well and circled it in orange noting that I made such damage. I suggested she take note that that small dent was right in line with all the other pre existing damage to the vehicle and that obviously the small little spot was not itemized in their long list of problems with the vehicle. She said that would be determined later by their adjuster. Well sure enough 3 weeks later I got notice that I was being charged $4000 for damage and their loss to income for the time the vehicle had to be out of service for repairs!! UNBELIEVABLE !! This was clearly a bait car that has been used in this kind of situation a number of times. How can I be charged for “loss of time” for the repairs when the car should never have been rented out with all the damage already on it? We can be assured that others prior to me (including the driver that actually cause all the damage) have equally been charged for this “loss of time”. That’s fraudulent!! After many attempts to talk to Sixt customer service and several emails to dispute this unjust claim, I was ignored and denied any kind of favorable outcome at all and have since been notified that they are sending me to collections for not paying their bill. This is now going to become a legal matter as I will not be taken advantage of in such a way.Highly recommend you do your research in regard to this company! I wish I had !! NEVER AGAIN!

They partner with Uber and the local dealerships around the area to provide transportation to and from the locations as needed to pick up your car or rental. The staff is helpful and the pickup is fast. There is a fee for renting under the age of 25 and a $200 security deposit for damage or interior cleaning from smoking (which will be taken off of the final cost when the car is returned).

I recently rented a car from SIXT car rental, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The customer service was top-notch, and Philip, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure my rental experience was smooth and hassle-free. The car was clean and well-maintained, and the pick-up and drop-off process was seamless. I highly recommend SIXT car rental and want to shout out to Philip for his exceptional service! Five stars all around!
