Total joke. These people make TQL look like rock stars. Cheap rates. Brokers lie to you constantly. Bring it to their attention and they block you from booking freight. Lol. Thanks for doing us a favor Spot!

These people charge criminal rates. $1.50 a mile? A 400 mile run is paying me $600. An Uber ride would cost dramatically more. These brokers are out of control making more than us owner operators, who have to pay massive expenses like a semi truck, diesel and so on. To make matters worse they contact me after I drove almost 100 miles to the pick up demanding pictures of the trailer. I sent them pictures. The entrance to the trailer was SLIGHTLY wet, because it was raining when I opened the trailers to check inside. No compensation. No apologies. Why wait until I am almost at the shipper? Now I have to pay to idle the truck, rental for the truck, fuel to drive there, and missed opportunity cost of having to sit a while day with no pay.

Beware of scam !
This company is running a scam on carriers! We picked up a double stack load of paper towels from Shelby, NC and delivered at Aldi in Valparaiso, IN. The load was sealed and the driver was not allowed at the dock for loading or receiving. After delivery, Aldi claims that they received 5 pallets short than it's listed on the BOL. Spot Freight and Aldi made us responsible for this(a mistake of the shipper or the receiver) and deducted almost $2000 from our paycheck.
Many 5stars reviews are from fake accounts just to boost Spot ratings.

We LOVE Spot!! We've been running loads for Spot over 7 years & in the last year we've been running a regular lane for Chuck Brucato & Anthony J - we HIGHLY recommend using this team, they are super responsive & always take care of us with any detention or issues that arise. Super professional & on top of their customers and freight. Thanks guys!!!

I used to love working with Spot Inc., but after my recent experience, I can no longer recommend them. On July 25th, 2024, I booked a load from Ada, OH to North Carolina with Austin B. Everything seemed fine until we encountered a major engine failure about 200 miles into the trip. We immediately informed Spot's after-hours team, provided all necessary documentation, and assured them that a recovery truck would be on the way as soon as possible.
The following morning, Austin called me, and his behavior was shockingly unprofessional. He was aggressive, dismissive, and seemed completely indifferent to the situation. Despite explaining that the truck was still attached to the trailer and couldn't be moved, he insisted on repowering the trailer, showing no understanding or concern for the challenges we were facing.
Our recovery truck arrived on Friday evening, and had the receiver been open on Saturday, we would have delivered then. Unfortunately, they weren’t, so we had to wait until Monday. Now, on August 30th, we’ve been hit with a short payment from Spot, charging us $500 for a late delivery on a $1,200 load. This penalty was never mentioned in the rate confirmation, nor was it indicated that this was a critical load. Moreover, the receiver was first come, first serve.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I would strongly advise against working with this company. Their lack of communication, professionalism, and fairness is unacceptable.

After delivering load , we requested detention . Customer service told me they will request for me . Never heard from anyone. When i called them they asked me to upload on the portal. I did ! They didn't approved mentioning this load submitted late . Even if on the portal it said pod must be submitted within 3 days , they keep mentioning the RC .
Two different confusing instructions applied on the rate con and on the portal.
