February 2024 by Ben P.
T-Mobile took over $1,100 for absolutely nothing In 2019 I decided to get the iPhone 11 Pro Max a few months after it came out (July). I decided to do a 2 year lease on it which cost $39.59 per month, just tacked on to each monthly phone bill. In April of 2020, T-Mobile buys Sprint, the carrier I purchased the phone through. My lease is still not completely paid, so I keep making payments. T-Mobile owned Sprint when my lease payment should have been removed from my bill. Fast forward to today, February 1st, 2024. I'm looking over my bill details and I notice that there's a charge on there that doesn't include my iPhone's protection plan stating that it's for leases. Confused, I check the leases tab and there are no active leases. I HAVE BEEN PAYING AN EXTRA $39.59 PER MONTH FOR 30 MONTHS ($1,187) FOR A PHONE THAT IS ALREADY PAID OFF. I call customer service and a very professional young lady named Diamond helps me, she tells me that they had to manually remove so many lease charges from people's bills. I asked if I could be refunded for these extra charges and she tells me that she can only refund 2 months worth of payments (under $80). I understand that she has protocols that will not allow me to talk with her supervisor so I don't even know why I bothered asking. I made sure to be really nice to her because at the end of the day, it's not HER who's been pocketing the equivalent of an extra YEAR'S WORTH OF PHONE BILLS from me. I have called customer service several times over the past few years for help on a few things, there have been PLENTY of times that they could have spotted this error. I am so upset about this and will be switching to a different phone company by February 21st (the day my bill is due) if I am not made whole. I advise anyone thinking of switching to T-Mobile to think twice about it, seeing as they clearly have no issue taking the hard-earned money that is not owed to them.

Switched to T-Mobile 9/23/23 and signed up for the freedom program that T-Mobile has. Been waiting and waiting. Monday 10/23/23 Verizon takes 511.08 out of my bank account. So I call T-Mobile asking about why Verizon hasn't been paid from signing up for the freedom program. Turns out the incompetent employee named Sargon didn't submit the form correctly. Now I'm out 511.08 and it's caused a chain reaction now I'm 345.00 overdrawn in my bank. I'm feeling very underappreciated being a new customer. Don't join T-Mobile. Just stay with who your current provider. It's not worth the headache and stress.

Sent us to the Apple Store for no apparent reason. I guess it is too much to expect an employee to know how the insurance T-Mobile offers actually works. Avoid this place and go somewhere with competent workers.

I will miss T-Mobile but for now I have to sacrifice. I went in to pay off my phone and Gina helped me. She was so nice and I know she was there all day because my sister went in the morning & had her as well. Gina was super helpful to us both and did not give us a hard time for leaving. Makes you want to come back because the service has always been great! Online and in person.

I had the most pleasant phone buying experience of my life with Rhiannon! I came in colored by previous experiences of pushy sales tactics and unclear pricing. Rhiannon was 1 on 1 with me the whole time. She gave honest and open advice, wrote out all the pricing by hand for me to make sure I understood my options, spent extra time checking that all my data and apps got transferred correctly to the new phone, and was super kind, caring, and calming! I would recommend her and this store to anyone!

5 star but it would be nice if they had sits in the front where customers can sit and wait for their turn.

Wish I had started out in this store. They are very helpful and knowledgeable/truthful about plans and products. Helped me fix what the call center folks messed up/gave me wrong information on.

Not very customer friendly. After entering he said he'll be with me in few seconds. I stood there for 15 mins and he didn't bother mentioning that it'll take longer. Only go here if you've plenty of time.
