An ideal place for an Orthodox Christian who is in the area to visit. Wide selection of books, and also icons, prayer ropes, incense, censers, etc. When you arrive, ring the doorbell to be let in.Be sure to keep an eye out in the hallway for any used offerings available.

The shop is dominated by Orthodox Church religious books. But it also has various other Orthodox religious items: censers; crosses; prayer ropes (beads); Orthodox iconography; and so on.You'll probably need to ring the doorbell to enter. Closely associated with the neighboring Orthodox church.

A great selection of books from the eastern fathers and even some from the west. The destiny for patriotic shipping.

I bought a unique cross there 8 years ago. I had recently lost it in a car accident. I been looking for a cross and a St. Jude medallion. With no luck , my wife told me to call St. Seraphim and see if they had one close. …. And by the grace of god they had on of my crosses , I couldn’t believe it . And the staff was so polite and understanding, so I’m getting my cross ……. YaY I am so excited , and can’t believe they have my cross …!!! God is working and is a beautiful GOD

Knowledgeable and hospitable staff (we were served tea and baklava!); a specialized bookstore that has more breadth within its specialty than some seminary bookstores; lots of icons and Orthodox Christian gifts; a very peaceful and relaxed "vibe" that respects those who simply want to browse. This is a bibliophile's bookstore, with good and sometimes rare offerings for everyone from scholars to adult inquirers to children. We made a detour on an 8-hour trip to stop in and would do so again. If there were a Michelin Guide for bookstores, this would get a "5".

The best Orthodox Christian bookstore in the Midwest, if not the country. Highly recommend. Very extensive selection of books, icons, akathists, crosses, and anything else an Orthodox may be looking for.The staff there are excellent, very friendly and helpful.Simply wonderful

St. Seraphim Bookstore is the largest Orthodox Bookstore in Indiana. Located downtown at 16th and N Delaware, it's easy to get to and carries far more than books. I can get incense, music, candles, prayer ropes, jewelry, icons, children's items, and more. Many people who shop there are not Orthodox; they come for unique items not available elsewhere. The "staff" are all volunteers who work there because they love it (and it shows). You won't regret stopping by!
