HORRIBLE I wish I could give zero starsmultiple furniture pieces completely ruined beyond repair. Irreplaceable antiques and designer furniture items trashed. This company picked up, packed and stored my items while my house was being built. All of my items in their possession from pack to final move in. The damage is horrendous but the lack of customer support and service is worse if that is possible.I do not have words for how angry I am. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

We had a move come up quickly and Planes mobilized quickly & efficiently for us. We will be using several months of storage time so it was important to pack things properly for the movement in to storage, and ultimately back out of storage. The crew went to great lengths to explain what their plan was and incorporated our feedback and suggestions. People dread moving. We are no exception. For the first time in 11 moves, our first time using Planes, we had a great move. Planes does it right!

The guys were a real pleasure to work with. David, the crew leader was professional and organized through the whole process. They worked with me as I had a few things to wrap up, and were respectful when I needed to move my cats to different part of the house. Thanks for a smooth and quick turnaround.

From initial contact through delivery of our household to our new home, Planes Moving and Storage did a fantastic job. Scott was our driver, and his packing, loading and unloading teams were the best we have had in four moves over the past seven years. We could not be more satisfied with their work.

We had Planes move us out of one location and store our belongings while we waited on our new house to be completed. When Planes arrived at the new location, we found various items that had been damaged during storage. It was apparent that the items had been stacked in such a way that damage was the result, with one clear example being the clothes dryer, which had the legs totally crushed under the weight of whatever was stacked on top of it. In addition, the crew was careless in handling our belongings and respecting our property. We encountered damage to the house as well as additional damage to our belongings. The most troubling damage to the house is the hardwood floors that were scratched, and the wood tread nosing that was not protected properly and therefore the tread incurred some deep scratches from the two wheel cart runner/frame. Because we have several custom pieces from France and England, I took images of the pieces before the move. Even though the images showed some use and wear, the damage that occurred because of the mishandling is clearly evident in the images. Planes is "too big to care". The most troubling damage to the household goods is a custom armoire, which when the crew was setting the top onto the base, they put some deep gouges and scratches on the base, which were not there prior to the move, as evidenced by the images. The crew on site even acknowledge the "blunder" and took images of the damage. As well, there are two chairs, which we had only had for 14 months, that incurred some deep gouges on the top of the wood arm, which were clearly not there before, as evidenced by the images. We have been forced to seek legal counsel in order to receive some level of reasonable recompense. I could never recommend Planes, and should you use them, I would recommend you have someone watch every move they make while on site, since they are careless in handling the household goods as well as how they care for your property. Even though our documentation clearly reflects the damages by Planes, they refuse to acknowledge their error. This is the first time I've written a review, but hopefully my experience will benefit someone who is considering using Planes.

The crew arrived when they said they would and immediately got to work unloading the truck after they made sure the floors in our house were protected. They were careful not to hit walls on their way in, put boxes exactly where we asked them to and assembled items (beds, etc.) that required assembly. Nothing was broken and they finished in about 2.5 hours. We were very impressed.

Really great service, very good at communication. The two men that packed everything were so kind, and very efficient. They had our small apartment packed in just a few hours, which is so much faster than we could have done it. We haven’t yet received our supplies at our new home, but considering how the pick up went, I have zero concerns that there will be any problems.

After comparing 3 quotes for my recent move in Indianapolis, I choose Planes due to the initial service I received when I called along with all of the positive reviews that I read. While they were not the least expensive, they did exactly what they said they would do and always right on time. Our moving crew, lead by Zach, was super courteous, professional and great communicators.

They will quote you a reasonable price to pack and move. They will then send an inexperienced and incompetent crew that will cause the move to take 5 hours longer than quoted. You will be charged 50% more than you were quoted, and you will have to deal with damage to your home.

I have done 4 major moves with professional reputable moving companies. One was from out of the US. while all of them are very professional, and good, I must say that Tony, the driver and project lead and his teams in Indianapolis, and then in Tampa/St., Pete what are the best of all my movers. we are still opening boxes, but after going through half of our load, we have found no damage to anything at all. Tony is a nice and as cheerful as can be. And he definitely had leadership over his crew. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone moving.
