βALDI seems to have the lowest food prices available in local stores - on average. Pet food also seems low-priced. Non-food prices don't seem anything special. You may need a quarter to unchain a shopping cart.β
βThis store is small and they are out of many things. Some of their shelves are completely empty and they are missing a whole freezer section. Maybe they are about to remodel?Their cashiers are fast! ?β
βReceived a $25 coupon to go to this commissary in the mail from the government. was pleasantly surprised at the selections and especially the pricing, we saved over $100 vs shopping at our usual local stores. Will definitely shop there again.. Honestly did not know this commissary existed. Overall a very positive shopping experience and next door was a class 6 and their prices were also fantastic. Worth the drive..β
βThe only issue is selections, limited. The items purchased were high quality. As stated item selection limited, not much of a variety. Unlike the super stores Aldi is more of a specialty store. Good selection of non GMO productsβ
βGreat place for cheaper prices. I buy alot of my pet supplies there, suck as kitty liter, toys, pet beds, blankets, etc. Cheaper trash bags, groceries and paper goods.β
βWonderful organization that provides food to families in financial need. Volunteer tasks are very organized and well spread out for social distancing. I feel comfortable coming here to help out during covid because they are very careful about sanitizing everything and keeping the safety guidelines.β
βThe low prices of Aldi's is unmatched. The selection is great also. For anyone looking for nutritious meals on a budget, I highly recommend Aldi's. From produce to meats, Aldi's has you covered. I know this post sounds like a commercial, but visit Aldi's. You won't regret it.β
βA wonderful Aldi! Kept so clean, stocked well, and food very fresh. This store is larger with an open-air feel. The aisles are wider and well organized. I prefer this one over other Aldi locations.β
βThis particular Aldi is older and not as nice as others in the area. It also feels a lot busier due to the density of the neighborhood. For the most part the shopping experience is the same but if you come later in the day, you might not find everything you were looking for.β
βIt would be five stars, but they have a lot of rude employees that do not want to serve the customers! Luckily, they have a high turnover rate so if an employee is rude to you, chances are they wonβt be there the next week!β
βIf you want to prioritize affordability instead of convenience, Aldi's is for you. There's a really good variety of products but you may have to supplement with another full service grocery store down the street as they haven't quite got everything yet but I'm sure they will. They have a lot of unique finds - Irish cream cheesecake and the BEST gelato a grocery store can carry to name a couple. Store is clean, staff aren't really walking around offering to help so it can take a while to get acclimated, but once you do, the prices can't be beat. Be prepared for the following: Bring a quarter... you have to pay a deposit for your cart. Bring your own bags. Bag your own groceries. All small prices to pay for the convenience.β
βUsually the best price for what I purchase.
I'd give them a 5 but they are constantly rearranging their stock making it difficult to find products.β
βIt's my go to store, easy to get in and out of. I do wish they would open the DIY belt fed checkouts again. It's tough to pack $300.00 worth of groceries into a cart and only have a 12x12 space to work with. If we are going to do all the work...... give us more space!!β
βThis store is owned by Leixa Molina. She is from Venezuela. This space is filled with wonderful things. There are canned goods of all types. There is a wide variety of hot sauces which intrigue me!! Flour, Masa, oils, candy, cold drinks, cheeses, meats, produce, -whoo! Too many great things to mention. If you like Charras, they are here. I see they evev have Charras with JalapeΓ±o. I love Tamarind. Come in and pick up some Tamarind or a Jarrito Tamarind drink. Try something new. You never know until you try. The kids will love the choice os cookies and candy. There's plenty to choose from. Look in the cooler and pick up a Jumex Peach Nectar or a Jumex Strawberry Nectar. This is such a great store and Leixa is a blessing to talk to. Her daughter Ashley is 12 years old. She is as sweet as can be. Leidary makes a cheesecake that looks amazing. Don't pass it up!β
βLove this mini super market! Makes me feel like back home, in Mexico. Excellent products, amazing location and friendly staff. Good for practicing your EspaΓ±ol. You gotta check it out.β

βI love Myers and Iβve been shopping there for 25 years, but the same issue still is in place as it always has been. The store just cannot seem to keep everything stocked. They are often out of what I want or I end up getting the last item on the shelf. Very few organic options in the baking aisle!β
βAmazing near Eastside market! This will be my new quick trip shopping place. We needed about 30lbs of meat for a party tomorrow and popped in here before we made the trip to our usual spot on the west side. Iβm so glad we did! They had everything we needed and more. The premade Guac is great. The staff was helpful, facility was clean and it wasnβt crowded. Lots of fresh produce, amazing meat selection. Lots of grocery items.β
βCasher did not say one word to me. Did not loom at me . Handec me my change. I walkef out. I wanted to see if she would say thanks for shopping at Safeway , but no she did not. Do they teach ustomer service at all anymore?β

βGreat Place the stop if you're in a hurry. It's close to my home.Prices are a little higher but for convenience, it's a great place.I just wish the deli would stay open longer. And their meat is really good. They carry a wide variety of Meat as far as meat goes. They even have rabbit lolβ
βGreat selection of produce.
The Perks app is not very good. No easy way to locate coupons. Scan your own groceries is specific to certain machines and often closed. Update January 2025. Nothing has really changed. Self scan in the app is rarely open and limited number of items. Where Meijer exceeds expectations is price and selection, especially cheese and produce.β
βBest meat around! Prices of meat have went up but if you go to other stores to compare the quality it can't be beat. It's cut daily just ask the meat crew. Sometimes you gotta wait to get it cut, that tells you how fresh it is. If you don't see it just ask they can get it for you.β
βAmazing selection of Mexican and Central American goods, including foods, candies, condiments and more Also full meat and cooked goods counter and half a dozen tables to eat something yummy right in the storeβ
βI love this place its like a second home!!! I lov they're service and I know the people .they're so nice I give them 5 stars my relitives and are close friends with the owners tooβ
βThis place is good for fresh sourdough bread and large variety of wine and whiskey, rest at same like other grass stores, but price wise it is cheaper than Whole Foods and expensive than Krogerβsβ
βI went in at 6am asking for these balloons to be filled up. To be expected, the regular lady at the flower counter was not there yet. They still found someone to blow these up for me. Thank you!!!β
βI like shopping here overall, much nicer than certain other stores, if you don't mind paying extra, which sometimes I'll choose to pay more just to have a nicer shopping experience. I do think Meijer has a good fruit selection but several times I've been disappointed with the vegetables. They don't have much sometimes or some of what they do have seems old.β
βI just checked out at this Kroger and the assistant named Pearl was extremely helpful and even offered tips on how I could save money. She also watched my cart while I ran back and grabbed something she told me about that was on sale . Pearl was very kind and helpful to everyone in the checkout. EXCELLENT Customer service. Thank youβ

βBetter than the Kroger on Washington StreetWashington Street Kroger had no sous meat. Washington food looks old. Poor management. How do you sell out of cigarettes. Everyday they don't have the popular cigarettes. And the security guard always has something to say to me. You can't do this or you can't do that. I'm there to buy food. Spend money.I'm there when I don't have a choice.β
βIt looks like they are cleaning this store up. They have tons of new products and the shelves are pretty well stocked. They still only have one cashier, making you use the self-scan. I won't use the self-scan. They need to just hire more cashiers! Nobody likes the self-scan!β
βVery busy!! Self check is slow because some people scan slow, try to bag, and fumble to pay. Only 1 cashier who was very fast, but the line was long.
Prices have increased like everywhere else...3.54 for eggs. (Seems to be the current indicator for measuring the evonomy!) Out of many items (this was a Monday afternoon)β
