“Received a $25 coupon to go to this commissary in the mail from the government. was pleasantly surprised at the selections and especially the pricing, we saved over $100 vs shopping at our usual local stores. Will definitely shop there again.. Honestly did not know this commissary existed. Overall a very positive shopping experience and next door was a class 6 and their prices were also fantastic. Worth the drive..”

“ALDI seems to have the lowest food prices available in local stores - on average. Pet food also seems low-priced. Non-food prices don't seem anything special. You may need a quarter to unchain a shopping cart.”

“Good store. More non bioengineered food to choose from than many other stores. Their produce could be better, I've gotten a few items that were bad. Had to toss all but 1 onion from a bag in less then a week.”

4.3 Superb207 Reviews

“The only issue is selections, limited. The items purchased were high quality. As stated item selection limited, not much of a variety. Unlike the super stores Aldi is more of a specialty store. Good selection of non GMO products”

“The low prices of Aldi's is unmatched. The selection is great also. For anyone looking for nutritious meals on a budget, I highly recommend Aldi's. From produce to meats, Aldi's has you covered. I know this post sounds like a commercial, but visit Aldi's. You won't regret it.”

“Love shopping here! You have to look at what your buying however they have really great items at reasonable prices. We love their thin cut pork chops and the boneless chicken breast. The selection of frozen vegetables is great.”

“Meijer is killing the game. ONLY store that is open untill midnight everyday so we go somewhere to turn to when you realize u need a thing or two and its passed 11pm. Orher wize we would be bumed out untill the following day. So yea to meijer”

“This particular Aldi is older and not as nice as others in the area. It also feels a lot busier due to the density of the neighborhood. For the most part the shopping experience is the same but if you come later in the day, you might not find everything you were looking for.”

“It would be five stars, but they have a lot of rude employees that do not want to serve the customers! Luckily, they have a high turnover rate so if an employee is rude to you, chances are they won’t be there the next week!”

“Wonderful organization that provides food to families in financial need. Volunteer tasks are very organized and well spread out for social distancing. I feel comfortable coming here to help out during covid because they are very careful about sanitizing everything and keeping the safety guidelines.”

“Good groceries. Also the Meijer still gives the Veterans and police, service workers a free ANY size drink for appreciation. Get n Go cropped it to a free 20 oz. They did away with the sny size!
Least those 2 companies do this ! I have not found any others. Please inform if you have!”

“Love this Aldi! It's not usually cluttered, and the people who work there are so nice and helpful!

Also, these Savoritz Parmesan Cheese Crisps are SO GOOD!!!”

“I don’t go to Indianapolis much as a truck driver, but it’s nice to find a Mexican grocery store that not only has enough space for truck parking, but the folks are friendly enough to get me guacamole at the check out because I couldn’t find it. I’m saving this on my Google maps for future reference.”

“Great selection of produce.
The Perks app is not very good. No easy way to locate coupons. Scan your own groceries is specific to certain machines and often closed. Update January 2025. Nothing has really changed. Self scan in the app is rarely open and limited number of items. Where Meijer exceeds expectations is price and selection, especially cheese and produce.”

“The local spot. If you live in the area, this is the spot to go for your quick restock.

Hot deli has some of the best fried chicken in town!

Catfish on Wed & Friday.”

“I just came here for the first time, the taco truck caught my attention. I ordered two shrimp tacos with onion y cilantro. Simple yet very delicious and fresh! They were very generous with the shrimp. It was literally overflowing with shrimp lol. They put enough shrimp for 6 tacos! I’m impressed and come again next time in town”

“Amazing near Eastside market! This will be my new quick trip shopping place. We needed about 30lbs of meat for a party tomorrow and popped in here before we made the trip to our usual spot on the west side. I’m so glad we did! They had everything we needed and more. The premade Guac is great. The staff was helpful, facility was clean and it wasn’t crowded. Lots of fresh produce, amazing meat selection. Lots of grocery items.”

“This place is good for fresh sourdough bread and large variety of wine and whiskey, rest at same like other grass stores, but price wise it is cheaper than Whole Foods and expensive than Kroger’s”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I absolutely love this Safeway and want to give them five stars! Every Christmas or holiday, they’re often the only grocery store open, and they handle the rush of last-minute shoppers like pros. The store is fully staffed, the lines move quickly, and the employees keep a positive attitude the whole time—no stress or bad vibes anywhere.

One of the best things about this location is that there are no self-checkouts. Every visit means you’re greeted and helped by real people who work hard and serve the community. That’s worth paying a little extra for, in my opinion.

Also, shout-out to the fried chicken wings in the deli—they are a 10/10! Prices can be a bit high, but the quality service and friendly staff make it worth it, especially during the holidays.”

“Best meat around! Prices of meat have went up but if you go to other stores to compare the quality it can't be beat. It's cut daily just ask the meat crew. Sometimes you gotta wait to get it cut, that tells you how fresh it is. If you don't see it just ask they can get it for you.”

“They have the best fruit like the grape was hugh and very sweet and me and my daughter tore the canalope up i alway look at there meat and it looks season to perfection and fresh all day”

“Clean, bright, and calm atmosphere. Reasonable prices on certain things. One stop shop. I could shop for hours at this location. Tends to be crowded, especially around rush hours, but typically an easy and quick check out.”

“Honestly this has to be a hard location to even work at with the foot traffic and location combined, there’s always a lot going on.

There are handful of women who are always nice and helpful on the Tuesday day crew.

Sure I’ve had interactions here that are lackluster or I feel like an annoyance, but I understand being customer facing can be taxing (I am myself)

Today Dana was the best and I won’t forget it. My partner and I really appreciated it, downtown grocery stores can be hectic. Dana honestly needs a raise.

I frequent this location since I live by the zoo, so it’s nice to know that people like her are around <3
Thank you!”

“Jackie at the Kroger on Rockville Road was absolutely wonderful. I’ve never been able to figure out digital coupons, and she took the time to patiently help my mom and I at the self-checkout. She showed us how to use the app and stayed with us while we scanned our items to make sure we understood it. It was more than just doing her job....she was genuinely kind, patient, and sweet. That level of care really made our day, and it didn’t go unnoticed.”

“Whether they call it Owen’s or Ralph’s or Kroger you get the same basic services with each one. Yes they have flagship locations that offer a great deal more of which always comes with the added price. But when it comes to selection overall cost and cleanliness hands down they deliver…”

“Hope a manager sees this. Got to give a shout out to the young man on cart duty tonight(7/10) 6pm. The one and only issue I ever have coming here is there is never a small cart or a basket ready for me at the door. I usually hunt one down myself(which is fine). Kudos to him for working. In and out, in and out. As I type this, there are 0 carts in the return right now. Good stuff!

Thanks”
