“A wonderful Aldi! Kept so clean, stocked well, and food very fresh. This store is larger with an open-air feel. The aisles are wider and well organized. I prefer this one over other Aldi locations.”

“Aldi has a good selection of gluten free breads. Their produce is pretty good, and some of their store brand frozen are really good. I'm not a big fan of their dairy products, but they're okay. I like the experience of shopping there, and I especially like the checkout. It's fast and efficient. Bring your own bags or buy them, and fill them up yourself. I just wish there was one in Las Vegas. But I have Trader Joe's, which, except for gf bread, is even better.”

“I love ALDI. The prices are considerably lower than other grocery stores for most staple items. The produce is okay but I usually go to a farmers market or larger store like Meijer which has better quality. Some of their meat is okay (ground meat, chicken, and pork) but I have found their beef (especially steaks and expensive cuts of beef) is not as good as Meijer for example but is about the same price.Their specialty items and ALDI finds are awesome! Love the variety! But they never have enough chocolate desserts ?”

“It would be five stars, but they have a lot of rude employees that do not want to serve the customers! Luckily, they have a high turnover rate so if an employee is rude to you, chances are they won’t be there the next week!”

“Wonderful organization that provides food to families in financial need. Volunteer tasks are very organized and well spread out for social distancing. I feel comfortable coming here to help out during covid because they are very careful about sanitizing everything and keeping the safety guidelines.”

“What an amazing little commissary! I’ve shopped at many commissaries, for almost 30 years now. This truly is one of the best! The shelves are always stocked, the meat department is excellent. The staff is so friendly! 5 stars all the way!”

“This Aldi's is in the ghetto but it's really a diamond in the rough. Always stocked well, clean, Associates are quick and friendly. I live by Southport but I walk my dog a bit in Garfield Park so I stop by here often. Two thumbs up for this location.”

“Ok place to shop. Limited supply of everything. Good atmosphere, no low life people like you find in other places. You do own bagging, after you buy a bag or bags? Several generic products, which is ok. They taste the same to me.You might save some money, buy not a lot. Of course, no shopping carts scattered over the parking lot. The chip reader didn't work?? I heard, "well, it's doing it again, it's been acting up all day".I will probably go back?”

“Need a few more cashiers as I had to wait in line for a bit. The 2 working were doing their best, though, and the one that took care of me and others was very polite. Carts need to be looked at as some were not working properly. Overall, I like going there to shop.”

“If you want to prioritize affordability instead of convenience, Aldi's is for you. There's a really good variety of products but you may have to supplement with another full service grocery store down the street as they haven't quite got everything yet but I'm sure they will. They have a lot of unique finds - Irish cream cheesecake and the BEST gelato a grocery store can carry to name a couple. Store is clean, staff aren't really walking around offering to help so it can take a while to get acclimated, but once you do, the prices can't be beat. Be prepared for the following: Bring a quarter... you have to pay a deposit for your cart. Bring your own bags. Bag your own groceries. All small prices to pay for the convenience.”

“This was the cleanest and most convenient grocery store I've been to. The items you first walk into are the items I am actually looking for, rather than sending me on a hunt through the entire store to waste my time and money. I appreciate this so much. And the employees are as nice and sweet as Chick-fil-A employees here. Hard to do on Christmas Eve but nothing got their spirits down. Thank you ALDI staff. I appreciate you all.”

“This store is owned by Leixa Molina. She is from Venezuela. This space is filled with wonderful things. There are canned goods of all types. There is a wide variety of hot sauces which intrigue me!! Flour, Masa, oils, candy, cold drinks, cheeses, meats, produce, -whoo! Too many great things to mention. If you like Charras, they are here. I see they evev have Charras with Jalapeño. I love Tamarind. Come in and pick up some Tamarind or a Jarrito Tamarind drink. Try something new. You never know until you try. The kids will love the choice os cookies and candy. There's plenty to choose from. Look in the cooler and pick up a Jumex Peach Nectar or a Jumex Strawberry Nectar. This is such a great store and Leixa is a blessing to talk to. Her daughter Ashley is 12 years old. She is as sweet as can be. Leidary makes a cheesecake that looks amazing. Don't pass it up!”

“First time visiting & was surprised! Their produce was fresh, put the big stores to shame. Everything was reasonably priced. Their Bakery section is beautiful! Also, there's a little restaurant inside. My son got a quesadilla & my bf got tacos - both of them were pleased. Definitely returning! 5 out of 5 stars!”

“Stopped in tonight after dinner for some desserts. A very kind and patient young man helped us with some desserts even though we didn't realize the bakery was closed. Thank you!”

“Never been in this store before but I had the day off so I wanted to see what the hype was about. The hype is definitely deserved!!! Upon walking in you have the bakery then fresh fruits and veggies. The area smelled like a fruit stand then there is the fresh meat counter that took me back to an old school butcher shop. THEN there is a cheese counter and restaurant!!!! I have found my new grocery store cause they have everything including clear juaritos, fresh papaya and beef hoof. I am I'm LOVE!!!!”

“Amazing near Eastside market! This will be my new quick trip shopping place. We needed about 30lbs of meat for a party tomorrow and popped in here before we made the trip to our usual spot on the west side. I’m so glad we did! They had everything we needed and more. The premade Guac is great. The staff was helpful, facility was clean and it wasn’t crowded. Lots of fresh produce, amazing meat selection. Lots of grocery items.”

“Great neighborhood store to get in and out of quickly. Employees friendly and helpful. Store carries Campbell's Chicken and Herbs, McCormick's bacon bits, and Hamburger Helper Salsbury. Items which most stores in the neighborhood no longer carry. I go there just to buy certain items.”

“Little Flower has elements of a food desert and yet has a corporate grocer - Kroger, which largely fails the community. Safeway Foods is a smaller local option, not to be confused with the conglomerate Safeway/Albersons. Safeway Foods is minimal with small aisles and a largely processed food selection. The main attraction is a deli that receives rave reviews in some circles so that is my primary reason for visiting and reviewing. The parking lot is large, parking is no issue as the adjoining business (West Wing Pizza) is sadly no longer around. The produce and meat are well chilled, the sanitation feels much better than Kroger where everything is questionable on a given day. Selection and quality of produce is scarce, and pricing isn't great. Meat is well available with competitive pricing however. Service is great, I stood in a line of 4 and a new lane was swiftly opened. The deli options are vast, lots of Midwest-ish salads, including Ham Salad which slightly terrifies me. I went with the Fried Chicken and Mac N Cheese. Mac N Cheese was mid but edible, very soft noodles if that's your thing - it's not mine. Chicken missed the mark of the subtle Reddit hype I've read, but it was not bad. The season is the reason, the taste of the actual breading is very good. It is possible that made to order would improve the quality significantly so take my review with a grain of salt.”

“Best meat around! Prices of meat have went up but if you go to other stores to compare the quality it can't be beat. It's cut daily just ask the meat crew. Sometimes you gotta wait to get it cut, that tells you how fresh it is. If you don't see it just ask they can get it for you.”

“This Kroger is my usual grocery store. I've always had a great experience going here. The produce is almost always great with a large selection. I also frequently have groceries delivered. On the occasional times there has been a quality problem in a delivery or even an in-store visit, the customer service to resolve those issues has consistently been fantastic. I would highly recommend this location.”

“Better than the Kroger on Washington StreetWashington Street Kroger had no sous meat. Washington food looks old. Poor management. How do you sell out of cigarettes. Everyday they don't have the popular cigarettes. And the security guard always has something to say to me. You can't do this or you can't do that. I'm there to buy food. Spend money.I'm there when I don't have a choice.”

“I had back surgery and I’d just like to say my cashier Barbie went above and beyond to help me with a seat , my groceries and helped the bag man at the end help me to my car and put the heavy things into my vehicle and made sure I was ok cause I ended up doing to much and almost fainted from my pain by the time I was finished shopping and I really hope the Kroger Family recognizes her as an outstanding employee representing there team . I have been Bragging about her to everyone I speak to cause she is one of the good people not everyone would of helped to that degree . She deserves something other than my praise an thank you’s . I hope she gets it ?”
