Madeleine (@hairbymisshair) has been my go-to hair stylist for over a year and a half. She has provided blonde, bronde, brunette, and everything in between for color and processing and is always open to my style goals! This time she knocked it out of the park with my hair color and cut, knowing my wedding ceremony is right around the corner so the pressure was on! It’s always a pleasure to be in her chair!

5-Star Review: Kirstin is a Hair Styling Rockstar!
I am absolutely blown away by Kirstin's exceptional skills as a hair stylist. From the moment I reached out to her via Instagram, I knew I was in good hands. Her communication skills are top-notch, making it easy to discuss my hair color ideas and what I hoped to achieve.
Kirstin took the time to walk me through every step of the process, from understanding my desired look to how I styled my hair on a daily basis. Her attention to detail and genuine interest in getting to know me made me feel like I was working with a friend, not just a stylist.
But what really sets Kirstin apart is her personality. She's sweet, funny, and personable - making the entire experience an absolute joy. I felt at ease in her chair, and her infectious energy had me laughing and smiling throughout our appointment.
Five stars simply aren't enough to express my gratitude for Kirstin's incredible work. She truly rocks, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and caring hair stylist. If you're lucky enough to get an appointment with Kirstin, consider yourself blessed - your hair (and your mood) will thank you!

Bob cuts take a different kind of skill and over the years I have found that some people can do them well some people.. not so much…. I just moved to Fishers a few months ago and it was time for the dreaded thought of finding a new hair stylist. I looked and looked and then would close the webpages knowing I was too scared to make the jump of a new stylist. I finally decided to give Tangled up Salon a try in Fishers and chose Nicki. She made me feel at ease right away and cut my hair perfectly! Honestly one of the best haircuts I have ever gotten! I think I have found my new stylist in my new town and I am so happy! Thank you Nicki for putting my mind at ease and finally having someone I can trust to do my hair again!

I had an appointment with Nicole at the Fishers location, I accidentally confused the day my appt was and showed up on Wednesday instead of Thursday. She wasn’t at the shop when I arrived so I texted her and let her know (she seemed understanding) she told me she wouldn’t be able to get me in that day and she canceled my appointment on her own, I told her I would reschedule because I would not be able to take off work the very next day again. When I rebooked my appointment she immediately declined it, when I texted her asking if there was an issue with the day I selected or if I have to rebook, she ignored my texts. I texted her again the next day asking for simple communication because I did nothing wrong, she ignores me again. She is extremely rude and unprofessional and needs to communicate better with her clients.

I can’t say enough great things about this salon. I initially scheduled an appointment with Nikki. I was super excited and planning to get my hair cut the day prior to a special occasion. Unfortunately, Nikki had to cancel the appointment a few hours before. Under normal circumstances I would have waited for a time to reschedule, but since I had a special occasion, she went out of her way to get me in that same evening to see another stylist, Merlin. Merlin did a PHENOMENAL job and I feel like this is one of, if not the best, hair cuts I’ve ever had. She delivered on giving me bangs and putting layers in my hair that I couldn’t be more happy with. Thank you ladies for going the extra mile to make sure I could get this done on time. I’m so happy with the result.

I have known Patrick since his NYC days and would never think about having anyone else do my hair! I have modeled for years so it takes someone special to do my hair and he has ALWAYS been my go to person!! He gave me extensions first time,…LOVED THEM, he gives me the best hair and color treatments, his ideas for something new for me are always on point, but most of all, he’s the most down to earth person and so easy to chat with such a positive attitude on life, so wherever he is, I will be!! By the way, NOBODY CAN WASH HAIR LIKE HIM…NOBODY!!!

Definitely would NOT recommend this salon to anyone and I really hate leaving negative reviews. I worked in the service industry for years and am very understanding but really don’t want what happened to me to happen to someone else!
I don’t treat myself to getting my hair done as much as I’d love because I’m in school full time but I decided to treat myself to feel pretty for my graduation the next week. I scheduled a balayage with Sarah, found my inspiration pictures and showed them to her at the beginning. She glanced at them quickly and said it’d be no problem. She did my hair, curled it, and when I looked in the mirror I realized it was more blonde than I expected but didn’t say anything. (The lighting in the salon is super weird and dark so I thought maybe it was just the lighting and of course your hair always looks “better” after they curl it).
Anyways I go home wash it Sunday, dry, and straighten it and while I’m doing it I realize it is NOTHING like what I wanted. It had SO MUCH blonde in it (that had a weird green / brassy hue to it) and my inspo pic had very little blonde and where it was blonde in the inspo pic it was very cool and ashy. The money pieces were SO stripey and ugly and were so harsh against the rest of my hair. The blonde through out was so stripey and blocky and not blended well at all. I was so upset and instantly texted that night asking if we could do something to fix it because my graduation was in 5 days, I didn’t hear back til the next evening and was told she had nothing til Friday (my graduation) and would see about moving clients. After tip I paid $250 for this hair and it looked nothing at all like what I wanted so I felt so lost trying to figure out what to do.
Tuesday I asked for a refund because I hadn’t heard from her about anything and my graduation was coming up fast. She told me she would give me half a refund (not including my tip) because she couldn’t see me anywhere before my graduation. So I had to try to find someone to pay again to fix my hair. Luckily I found an amazing stylist from somewhere else who was so sweet and fit me in when I showed her my hair.
I guess if you still decide to go here be cautious if it comes out completely different than what you asked for they won’t fix it, you’ll have to pay someone else to color correct it and redo it, and then will still pay a ton of money!

Taylor consistently delivers great service and great hair. She takes time to review inspo pictures and asks questions. She also shows she cares about protecting hair health and I always leaving looking great and with hair that feels so soft and looks healthy.

Toddlers first haircut! Hannah was recommended to us through a moms group. I had been putting off getting my toddlers hair cut for a few months because she is apprehensive of strangers. I myself apprehensive because a good curly hair cutter is hard to come by in my experience. Hannah more than exceeded my expectations. She immediately bonded with my 2.5yo and let her pick a cat or dog themed water cup, which my child absolutely loved. She was very engaged and her kindness made my child feel comfortable. We absolutely love the haircut and the price was great too! Thank you so much Hannah! We will definitely be back!

Cristina gave me the best bob haircut! Worth every penny she took her time and made sure it was exactly how I wanted! If wanting to go shorter with a bob I recommend choosing her.

Think twice if you're booking with Taylor.Do not be surprised if she works with you and another client at the same time.She will give you a discount in your next appointment if you leave a good review.There's no need for my to speak to owner since my goal it's not to get her fired but to make others aware of my experience.Told owner she refund my service fully which she didn't.To my dismay, not only did the process take too long, but it also ended disastrously. My hair was visibly burned and damaged, a clear sign of mishandling and lack of professional care. The final color was nowhere close to the blond shade I desired. Instead, it was a much darker tone, completely opposite to what I had asked for.8 hours total.This experience has been extremely upsetting. I entrusted the salon with my hair, expecting professional and competent service. However, the outcome was far from satisfactory. I am left with damaged, poorly colored hair, and a sense of regret for choosing this salon.I hope my experience serves as a caution to others looking for a hair transformation. What was supposed to be a pleasant change turned into a lengthy, damaging ordeal. This salon has unfortunately lost my trust and I cannot recommend their services.
