I see it has been a while since there were any reviews focused on auto loans so it felt like the right thing to do to warn people away. For the majority of the loan on my vehicle, it was just fine really. It wasn't until payoff they really made me weary of them as a financial institution to utilize in any way going forward.Made a call on 10/20/2023 and wanted the final payoff amount as it was basically just a little higher than the normal payment. Explained I would set it to transfer on the following Monday, give me the precise amount for payoff. Got that amount, set up the last payment and did a victory lap for paying it off. I check the following day and i see 9 cents owed?? Get on chat and they explained "you need to call when you are paying it off" which i had the previous week. Long story short, their support saw some benefit to fight me for almost an hour for 9 cents. Does that strike you as a financial institution that will put your money to work in a positive way?I will be posting the entire chat exchange elsewhere on the internet to let others decide rather than taker my word for it.

I have been a member of TCU for 40 years. I even kept my account when I moved out of South Bend and then out of Indiana. The call center is very busy which may cause you to call back. Since switching to Everwise the app does not work. I found out about the change when the TCU app did not work. I currently have a loan with Everwise. When it's paid off I will close my other two accounts. The customer service is not like it should be or use to be.

I have been a Teachers Credit union customer for nearly 40 years with no complaints. Everwise came along and issued a bad batch of debit cards which affected my husband and me. Then we needed a loan for $22,000 and had to use our home for equity. There is no doubt that by public records and a visual view from the road that our home is worth 10 times that amount. After filling out the paperwork we were shocked to find that Everwise sent out an unannounced home appraiser who literally had to take photos of every room of our home. It felt like a HUGE invasion of privacy.

I've been a customer for a long time but I've the past couple years their website and app have become unreliable. Their site goes and app mainly goes down on Fridays when I need to check my deposits and pay bills. Their interest rates don't compare to other places either.

Hold time to speak to an agent is 30 mins or longer. I trusted this bank with my money and to be able to transfer to another cu, the system was broken so they could not transfer, and this was an emergency I needed to be done. They put a ticket in and said I had to wait 24 hours I waited 24 hours and it still didn't work. Once this is fixed, I will be closing this account and find me a trusting bank.

0 stars really. Ever since TCU rebranded with this company, things have sucked major. I can't ever access the mobile banking app and the companies website doesn't work either. The rebrand was not a good move on TCU and everwise has piss poor technology management. I'm over it.

If i could give them negative stars, i would. If you need a place to hold your money, I guess they'll do, but other than that, don't expect anything. Their tellers aren't friendly, they won't help with disputes, their mobile app s**ks. Want to feel like a bother, this is the place for you. The service has his been going down hill the past decade. Only staying with them so I can use credit union atms everywhere. Have to say, PNC is definitely better.

I have been with TCU for over 35 years. Used to love everything about the credit union. Key word used to. As others have stated, TCU changed their website and app format in 2022 and it has been a disaster. The site looks like some preteens designed it. It is very cartoonish looking, hard to navigate, and icons fail to work constantly. I gave it almost a year and it is no better than when it first launched. The heads at TCU in charge are obviously not listening or could care less what members are stating about the new format. Check the App Store and Google Play ratings. I do 99% of my baking on my laptop and phone and I am not putting up with it any longer. I was looking at screen shots of Indiana Members Credit Union app and saw they run the same format that Teachers used to have that is easy and actually works. After Christmas 2022 I am withdrawing all my accounts from TCU and taking my business to Indiana Members.

Where to start? TCU changed its website a few months ago, and the change has been a disaster. The design is not intuitive, and there is no longer a way to transfer funds from one of your accounts to another, because the transfer buttons do not work. I assume Teachers Credit Union paid a lot of money for their new website, but they should just go back to the old one. I understand from two employees in a local branch that the website change was delayed for over a year, and is still not working. I was told to bring my laptop into the branch and let them change me to the new website, because it was too difficult for people to do it on their own. I have been a TCU member for at least 20 years, but I'm thinking of switching to another bank for two reasons: TCU does not have a user friendly website, AND their customer service is now being done by a foreign country.

TCU recently decided to change their on-line banking system. Common sense would suggest that they NOT eliminate access to information as part of the change. WRONG! Couldn't find the information I have been accessing for years, so I called the 800 number. After waiting in phone-hell with the endless advertisements (uncertain as to whether I was actually on-hold, or being cycled through an endless message machine) - "Missy" came on the phone with all of the enthusiasm of a person on death row. I asked where to find the information I needed and she proceeded to tell me that I can only get my information from my statement (not the case BEFORE), AND TCU would only generate statements every THREE MONTHS. No longer can I access my account monthly...I have to wait until January 1, 2023 to access October information!!! Nice job TCU! Didn't think you could (or would) make things more complicated and useless - but you did!

I would give negative stars if i could. Poor customer. It's been 1 headache after another since I opened this account. I purchased counter checks the tcu representative obviously hadn't been trained properly to create the checks and mis- printed them. The information was not correct on the checks. I didnt realize it until it was too late. I only utilize the checks to pay 2 specific bills. The checks were invalid so although the funds were there but the transactions did not go through. The recipient charged me late fees & returned check fees due the checks not goindg through. Although this was to no fault of mine. Tcu admitted to theirtheir fault but yet still I paid the cost for their mistake. This has happened 3 times. One company will no longer accept checks from me all due this situation with Tcu. At that time, I should have closed the account due to their incompetence. Yet here we are today. I alerted them about a fraudulent unauthorized charge for $496 on my account-TCU will not do anything.no investigation - funds will not be returned. nothing will be done. I am definetly closing the account now. I also bank with Chase, chase will at least refund the funds until an investigation is completed. Tcu is also out dated as far as the app. Tcu is just now attempting to catch up with the times with Zelle and mobile banking features.I still am not sure what the hype is about credit unions anyway. Perhaps in mortgage or other avenues because for typically banking I rate them an F- there are some many other banking options out there- I suggest you go with those.

We recently purchased a car and the salesman recommended TCU. We have been married 46 years and have excellent credit. We have a problem with their online bill payment system and cannot get anyone to call us back. Huge disconnect between the various departments. Will never do business here again.
