As a customer of Terminix since 2018--bait control, crawl space encapsulation and a whole house dehumidifier, I trusted them.However, little did I know that when I cancelled my bait stations, they cancelled my crawl space service as well (just shy of the warranty period).I could never get them to schedule appointments when I was available. They would call, while I was at work, and say they were on their way. I had spoken to the manager, at that time, and he would make sure they would set up appointments a week in advance. THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN.I actually called and had another salesman, or 'employee' come out--Keith, he made his pitch to me. My bait stations all had to be replaced, because they don't use those any longer. Much more money.....but I never heard from him again.When I called to get service July 26, 2022, on my dehumidifier, I no longer existed in their customer list. Now, I have had to replace the dehumidifier, due to the installation (it wouldn't drain as it should, and didn't work).....out a bunch of money on this one. WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!!

This company is a complete JOKE!!!I called Terminix on a Saturday afternoon and was assured they knew about the pests we were having problems with (Springtails). We had an appointment schedule for the following Tuesday between 10am and 12pm. No one showed. Tuesday at 1pm I called and was told that my appointment was dropped; not canceled, not rescheduled, just dropped. We were then rescheduled for Saturday from 10am to 12pm. This happen to be a birthday, but we were so concerned with the bugs that we waited around all day and no technician showed up. I called again at 1pm and was told “oh yeah, the technician Ivan was assigned and was probably just running late.” At 3:30pm I called again, they told me they were trying to call Ivan and he was not answering his phone and his voicemail was full. I was told to call back at 4pm and they would try to contact Ivan’s manager, Jeff Chase. I called just after 4pm and again, no one was able to reach Ivan. I was assured, however, that Jeff would call me, and his Regional Director would call me to investigate this situation and get me service as soon as possible. As you can imagine, I received no calls, no texts, no emails from Jeff or anyone. Saturday was a horrible day that we waited at the house all day and evening and canceled plans. Monday (today) I have called twice so far. The first call, after being on hold for 28 minutes and told numerous times that they were going to resolve this and get a manager on the phone, the young lady simply hung up on me. I called right back, connected to another representative and was now told that Tim and/or John, Jeff’s boss, will call me back. Do you think that happened? Nope. So I have to ask, is Ivan the only technician in all of Indianapolis? If I have called numerous times on Saturday and Monday and no one can reach Ivan, is he dead? Is he laying in a ditch somewhere? Would not someone from Terminix be concerned and try and track him down, find out why his employer cannot contact him, call his previous clients for the day and ask if he indeed showed up? I can understand if you are short staffed but at least have the decency to contact me to follow up.Terminix has some positive reviews. I have no idea how those reviews can be accurate. I cannot stress how disorganized this company is and how they lack in customer service, accountability, follow up and basic services in general. Following my first call, they certainly charged my credit card right away but still I have had no service or communication other than me trying to chase these guys.Please DO NOT waste your time and DO NOT call this company at all. Once their corporate HQ investigates these local branches, if they even will, MAYBE they can become a reputable company again. Until then, STAY AWAY!!p.s. I am still willing to chat Jeff, Tim or John. The ball is in your court, but I am done chasing you and your team. I think it equally sad you won’t even contact me to discuss this situation.

Excellent customer service! Starting with their Inspector Dustin. Dustin went above and beyond to provide a thorough inspection, as well as tips. The token about Dustin is, he is genuine and worked with me to ensure my best interest was in mind. This ranged from the timing of my visit, to applying treatments, which included future visits. On my next visit, i was still pleased. Both Jim and his trainee, were customer service oriented and thorough, as well. The service had to have been great, because from what I can tell, spiders and wasps are no longer present. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR EXCELLENCE!Services: Hornet & wasp extermination

Rescheduled appointments without any notice - waited all morning for a technician to come out, called the office, representative had no idea why it was moved, rescheduled again, same thing happened a week later. Terminated service same day.Service: Ant extermination

I have a horrible spider problem at my new house and Terminix cancelled and rescheduled my appointment three separate times without even asking me, called while I was at work saying they were at my house and then rescheduled me for a month out. Save yourself the headache and go to Orkin.Services: Bug & insect extermination
