Very rude staff. The lady at the register tonight spent 10 minutes checking out the customer in front of us and playing on her phone. When she called us forward she then opened a second register and started ringing up the person behind us while we were waiting and thenwent back to her phone before helping my family. The only reason i can think of for her rude behavior is that we were the only white people near the registers at the time. I realy hope that is not the case but i will never return to this location.

I am so sick of this store! Why would you cancel my order without sending any type of notice. Drove almost an hour out of my way just to be told they canceled my order. Will never shop at any of these stores again

The Castleton location is an absolute dump! The store was filthy & clothes were thrown absolutely everywhere! The cashier I had to speak with was the rudest & quite honestly laziest person I have ever had to deal with. She even said to someone else they didn't care what that store looked like. The whole scene was just sad!

Never had an issue here! Most of the staff is wonderful! The clothing quality usually hits as well. Their spring and summer clothes are typically the best. The winter clothes typically aren’t thick enough to handle Indiana winters IMO.

I drove all the way to this location from far away to return a shirt that was the wrong size. I had no idea I was outside their return window. They refused to take it, and now I'm stuck with something we can't use. They weren't very friendly or helpful, and I will never shop there again. I lost time, gas, and the money I spent. Sometimes, you can bend the rules people ?

Incredibly rude and mean employees. The interactive kiosk by Van Maur said they had a restroom, which was great because I had intended to buy my niece and nephew some nice clothes. Well when I went towards the back looking for it I got berated and harassed by an employee. I explained the situation and why I was confused and was treated like garbage. And the kicker was that when I said I didn't understand why she was being so mean to me she doubled down and was even meaner! I can't believe they allow someone like that to work in a children's store.

I’ve only went here to buy my son some jeans , nobody really asked if I needed any help in finding anything. I was just stared at through out the entire time. Felt pretty uncomfortable once I was ready to pay, the employees weren’t even doing anything but standing all in one place talking to each other by the mean time I was waiting by the cashier register just waiting and waiting until one of them rudely came with an attitude and asked if I was going to pay already.

Well, I was double charged for a item, i.e. the cashier rang the one item I purchased, twice. I called customer service when I got home and saw the charge. The did have record of the purchase because it was too new and said to call back on Monday. Well I call back the Monday after that because we are a very busy family and I ve been on the phone for almost an hour. I contacted the store and they said they couldnt help me when it happened.

This store is the size of a shoe closet, or studio apartment in New York, whichever is smaller. The amount of limbless and headless mannequins makes you feel like you are walking through season 3 of American horror story, and they would make money if they sold cigarettes because of the stress feeling so crammed makes you feel...imagine being a little kid in this store....

Horrible experience! I should have read the reviews before I went ! I never give a bad review but after being at this place with the worst customer service and very rude staff I won't bring my kids here again . The manager acts like she could care less and should be fired! They don't care about helping you find anything and charge you 20 off when the clearance rack clearly shows 50off ..

Would give zero stars if possible. Return policy with no receipt is same item/color in different size. My daughter got an outfit for Christmas so no receipt. They didn't have the outfit she got, so I'm just stuck with this clothes that don't fit her. They clearly have theft issues but I'm not a thief and I felt like I was being treated like one with this horrible return policy. Will NEVER shop there again.

Don't Go Here!!! Shopping at Children's Place Castleton Square mall was an huge mistake and I want make it again. Mary the manager, along with her staff are rude and need major customer service training. I went into this store to return 5 items from my daughter's birthday. The items were neatly folded in a box with tags on and gift receipt at the bottom of box. The associate asked me where did I get the clothes...like I had stolen them. She failed to look under the clothes to find the receipt. She couldn't give me a store credit even with a receipt, this is insane. So I'm trying to shop with 2 little girls and a meeting in an hour. The associate also couldn't give me a dollar amount for my return. So I shopped and paid $30 over my returned value which I was mad about b/c I was treated trouble the entire time.

Horrible customer service. I went to exchange a skirt that I bought online that didn't match the shirt I bought to match it. They didn't have the matching skirt. I did not have the credit card I used for the purchase with me. They refused to put the credit on another card or give me cash. The online receipt was in my name, so obviously not fraudulent. It was all of $9. I will go Hamilton town center next time.
