The Eagle never disappoints. Always a good dining and/or bar spot. Parking can be tricky on Mass Ave if you're not familiar w this part of Indy's vibrant downtown. Highly recommend.

What a delightful experience at The Eagle Food and Beer Hall! My husband Wes and I were in town for a real estate conference, and our Uber driver recommended this gem. We're so glad we listened! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a variety of dishes including the 1/4 white meat fried chicken (so good!!!), the fried chicken club sandwich, cheese grits with pickled peppers, horseradish mashed potatoes with gravy, and biscuits with honey butter and blackberry jelly. As someone who grew up in the South, I thought I knew grits, but these with pickled peppers were a revelation! I'll definitely be trying to recreate them at home. Who would have thought of adding peppers? So good! Actually, everything was fantastic!!To top it all off, we received the BEST service from Patrick. We dined at the bar and enjoyed some local beers. Patrick was incredibly helpful and even gave us some fantastic local recommendations.Overall, a stellar dining experience.Highly recommended!

We went early in the evening on a Saturday around 4:30 - 5 and the wait wasn't very long. The food was good, but our server was great ( I can't remember his name). Of course, we had the fried chicken, and it was good, but the grits were great. The only negative was when the hostess came up to the table as we were waiting on our bill and asked us to wrap it up because she had a reservation for our table and needed it in 15 minutes. I have never had this happen anywhere, and we weren't even hanging out, we had just finished eating and were waiting on our bill to pay. It was really off-putting and killed the mood of the whole group.

Waited 30 mins for a table. Server was in a rush & rude.My grilled chicken tasted like it was from the frozen section at store. Hardly any dipping sauce or barely any ranch in my chicken. No knife to cut it,even though I asked for one. Definitely don't recommend. Over $100. Next time we will go next door. Plus very loud people drinking around my family. AWFUL parkingParking: WORSE PARKING EVER! NO SPOTS. HAD TO PARK 3 BLOCKS AWAY. ALL FOR A BAD DINNER

The sides, despite how generous in size, were priced well and delicious. We tried the sweet potato crock and cole slaw and both were very good iterations of their respective recipes. The appetizers seem priced a little expensive for how small they are. We tried the hush puppies and if they offered more pieces, we'd definitely order again. The mainstay of this restaurant is the fried chicken. For the price, the portions are fair and available in dark meat, white meat, and chicken half variants. To be honest, the breading was a little disappointing. It was a bit overcooked and browned instead of the gold you would expect from a crispy piece of chicken. Maybe the staff was having an off day.The restaurant smelled like a very clean Brothers Bar and Grill, which is to say there's probably a heavy drinking crowd at night. I would still go again, but only in the day.The waiter was very helpful, knew the menu inside and out, and attentive. The restaurant itself looks like it was AI-generated so you can tell it's some corporate franchise but otherwise it's a cute spot. If you have a picky eater to deal with, this is a good restaurant to choose.

Amazing food! The fried chicken is amazing with the hot honey. We also loved the spoonbread, pimento cheese tray, and mashed potatoes. We made reservations, which was super helpful, they were pretty busy even at lunchtime.

I stopped by The Eagle tonight to get food and a couple cocktails. Olivia S. was an amazing waitress. She was on top of everything. I would personally highly recommend her as your waitress. I will be asking for her again. She made the experience worth it.

We dined here while in town for the basketball tournament, and I am very happy we did! Everything was terrific--food, beer, and service. Three of us split a whole friend chicken, horseradish mashed potatoes, collards, hush puppies, and pickled green beans. We were quite happy with everything! The beer selection is excellent, with plenty of local options.Honestly, I had no idea this was a chain until after we left. It has a very local feel to it, and I will happily return.
