What has happened to this store? It went from being run professionally, to always clean and stocked. The restrooms are always clean. Now it's just not a pleasure to go into. Things are always dirty and not a pleasure to go inside anymore. It smells bad in there the customer service is horrible. No times on roller items and the bathroom is always nasty. U may as well tear it back down. If I could put less than a single star I would. When I ask what happened to this store I'm always told it's mgt. The mgt before cared about the store. Now they don't.

THE EMPLOYEES IN THIS LOCATION ARE RUDE AND HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO PROFESSIONALISM WHEN SPEAKING TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. IM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND THE OLD LADY AT THE REGISTER HAD AN ATTITUDE AND ALSO ACTED LIKE SHE WAS GOING TO DO SOMETHING. THORNTONS IS WILD FOR HIRING RUDE AND PROBLEMATIC PEOPLE LIKE THAT.

I've left a review before that was 3 out of 5 stars because the soda fountain machines keep breaking. Well, it's been more than 2 weeks now with them completely down, I drive through, I see the signs on the front door Through the Windows saying that the fountain drinks are inoperative, and I just shake my head and try to find another place. The real issue here, is that they aren't getting it fixed. And now I have no incentive to go there to get cigarettes, donuts, hot food, and Chester's hot fries. Also I like their gummy sharks, the ones that are their own brand. DeSoto fountains are the reason I go there, because all the other things can be bought from any other gas station. A pack of cigarettes a day, plus three drinks because I go there about three different times a day, and a couple days of the week having some of the hot foods especially the pretzel bites when they have them. It's somewhere between 6:00 and 8 dollars a month I usually spend at this station that is now going to the local Speedway Gas stations. I also revise my reviews for local places that I go to a lot, as things happen, so most likely you'll find out that they get a 5 out of 5-star review from me once everything is back working again! I can only hope that seeing this one-star review get someone to make a phone call to get these machines fixed! Also, I'd like to tell you guys that I hate the Nugget ice. The crunchy ice. I drink through a straw like most other people we aren't crunching on the ice, and it melts too fast, it Waters down the drinks too fast, you got to get some cubed ice dispensers in their! And I know that I didn't use the correct version of the word there, but I'm using talk to text. Not my fault.

I LOVE our new gas station! It is a hopping place so I am not the only one! It is always clean, working, and the bonus is that they carry my favorite Taffy! This is the only gas station on the Eastside I visit now for fill ups and snacks! Thank you for coming our way, Thortons!

My hubby stopped to get gas and always said their breakfast sandwiches were good. Well today I tried the chicken and waffle. After we drove away, I opened the wrapping for my sandwich and immediately noticed the cheese was brown. I touched it and it was hard as heck. There was a woman working the hot food counter and not sure how she didn't notice. Needless to say I had to trash it. I did call right away to inform the store so no one else had to get a bad product.

Nice store for now (its new), but as with any gas station in the 'hood you can expect the pumps to be out of receipt paper.
