Very helpful for a very non-model train person. My son's O scale Lionel switch dial was not working. I took it, the engine and the connector track in for diagnosis. While testing, I had a wonderfully pleasant conversation with the owner. He clearly enjoys "figuring it out". I was hoping to get a functional train back home since this comes out for my boys at Christmastime and they love their trains. My dial could not get going, so they found me a replacement device in the shop, rewired it to the track piece and sent me on my way for a very reasonable amount. They also kept the original dial for repairs. Definitely felt assisted and educated in a very kind manner when he could have very easily steered me in a more expensive direction :)

I'm very happy with my experience at Train Central.I decided to get back into model railroading with my dad so I went here to possibly pick up a locomotive to get the ball rolling. He had exactly what I was looking for! The owner was very nice and informative!Great selection of items here and will definitely be going back.Thank you!

Not like the employees at a box store, They are enthusiasts with a ton of railroading knowledge. Pricing is not jacked up. I would highly recommend this train store.

Amazing first time experience. fantastic customer service and it's really nice to see that such an old hobby is still running strong in Indiana I talked to a lot of the guys and they welcomed me with any questions that I had it's inside my rusty 25-year-old model railroader who dropped the hobby for about 15 years and I'm looking to pick it up.
