Windshield was filthy, tire was in need of air and they had no way to inflate it - and wanted me to wait until they helped another customer to give me another truck. Very unprofessional. I would not go back.

Scheduled to return truck by 5:30 on a Saturday. Called location to let them know I would not be able to make it until after hours or next morning and was told that as long as it was returned before opening on the following Sunday, I would not be charged for an additional day. Was there next morning before opening and delivered keys and truck to an employee. Was charged for the extra day anyway. Filed appeal with U-Haul corporate who said it would be referred to location. Have never heard a word back from them.

Was in a pickle because the Budget Trucks down the street did not give me notice that they were overbooked (after booking a month in advance) and found out the day I was moving that I didn’t have a truck. I came into this UHaul looking for anything and Erica was extremely patient and helpful. She ended up finding me a truck and basically saved the day. 10/10 service! Thank you!

I attempted to check in online, but I couldn't find the truck that the system assigned me on the lot. I tried to get the attention of the U-Haul representative on the lot, but he ignored me and walked away. When I went inside, the employee at the counter was rude, impatient, and abrasive, showing no willingness to help or listen. After insisting, he reluctantly listened and informed me that the truck assigned to me was blocked in. He did assign me another truck, but this situation could have been a serious issue if I had picked up the truck after hours, as the original truck was inaccessible.
Additionally, I wasn't the only one who experienced rudeness from the customer service representative. Two other customers were also treated poorly, one of whom had an issue with the truck they had just rented. U-haul should train employees to engage with customers in a polite and professional manner. Also improve online check-in system to ensure that customers can easily locate their assigned vehicles. You should also ensure that vehicles assigned to customers are accessible at all times, especially for those picking up after hours. This should involve better organization of the lot or ensuring that no vehicles are blocked in.

I recently used the U-Haul services at the Keystone location and had a mixed experience. I had a reservation for a 15-foot truck and an auto transport. On day one, I picked up the truck without any issues and was scheduled to return the following day to pick up the auto transport and load my car.
On day two, I returned with the loaded truck to get the auto transport. Upon arrival, I was informed by an African-American male U-Haul employee that the systems were down, and I couldn't rent the auto transport despite having paid for it in full the previous day. He initially denied the availability of the auto transport, even though there were four visible on the lot. He was unhelpful and rude, insisting that he couldn't rent any of the auto transports because of the system issue.
Thankfully, the store manager, Thomas, noticed the situation and intervened. He made several calls and, despite the systems being down, managed to rent me the auto transport since I had already paid for it. Thomas was very helpful and resolved the situation, allowing me to continue with my move as planned.
However, this experience highlighted a significant issue with the other U-Haul employees at this location. They were uncooperative and added unnecessary stress to an already stressful moving process. If you have a reservation at this location, be aware that you might face difficulties. I highly recommend speaking directly to a manager like Thomas to ensure you get the service you paid for.
