Very bad attention the person who attended did not want to rent me from U-Haul because he did not live in the nearby area and also very aggressive. He told me to order online but not in his store because they weren't going to give it to me

Experience was horrible again taking advantage of a female manager rented a wreck broken windshield wiper on a rainy day on the driver side also the visor over the driver's side with ball would hit a ball he stated they sent him the wrong part Dance all throughout the outside of the vehicle tears in the seats or maintenance when all this was brought to his attention he laughed it off as a joke even though it was driven in the rain could have got it in an accident but he wanted to make sure we understood that he was from Noblesville like that really meant something just another way that you Haul is taking advantage of females with arrogant individuals as managers that are out of touch with Society look forward to your comments concerning my comments and the way I was treated because my safety is not important you're a big company that's why I'm speaking out. Also in closing the manager was supposed to send me a receipt of our transaction which he never did so again another failure on U-Haul yes he fell being I was a female I wasn't worthy of getting my receiptI'm

I had reserved my truck online, with the assistance of customer service. Later I had to call this location to move up my pickup time and was able to do so. I received the email to confirm this and the truck was ready for pick up when I arrived. Inside was clean and everything was in order, with the exception of a furniture dolly that was just sitting on the floor in front of the service counter. I had to move it so that I or anyone else could trip over it. But the lady at the counter was very helpful. The truck was clean and very easy to drive. I would use and recommend this location.

The employees are helpful and professional, the app is really easy to use, and everything went smoothly. When I went to pick up my truck the items I ordered were already inside ready to go. I really liked that. The truck ran great it was clean, and I was able to rent and use it without incident.

Unit was heavily damaged. had a check engine light on, made horrendous sounds. service member at pickup was extremely rude and barely helpful. information for the truck was incorrect and took far too long for it to get corrected. service member gave me lots of attitude. the was no key drop box at pick up. this service was terrible. at this point in time I am extremely unlikely to use a uhaul again even though past experiences were positive. I nearly canceled this service and demanded a refund but that was not an option at that time.

I'm not sure what is up with these uhauls, but practically all of them have some seriously lazy employees. A friend of mine said the hardest part of the job was customer service. Cleaning out the trucks and parking was easy. So with that being said, why on earth do you hire these people? They never pay attention to detail and almost half of them are sitting around and moving super slow. It's almost like they are on something. And if you are checking me at at the desk why do you have your phone playing loud music when you are suppose to be helping customers? Wth . If they get crappy pay then pay them more or get someone that at least SEEMS like they like their job.

We rented a pickup truck. It was extremely dirty inside and out. The cabin smelled bad, and we had to hose out the bed of the truck before we could even use it.
To top is all off, we were over charged for the mileage by 15 miles! They never even checked the mileage when we returned!
I now understand why uhaul is less expensive than it's competition.

The website showed they had a specific trailer I needed in stock, I arrive and one person is already waiting to be taken care of. We stood there probably close to 10 minutes before I asked someone in the hitch shop if anyone was working inside. He had to go track someone down. Also, they didn't have the trailer that the website said they had!

Key to back lock was missing. When I spoke to an employee by the name Chris T. he said, “Who puts on a lock and doesn’t check for the key. First off that’s his job and I’ve never rented a U-Haul where I had to worry bout that. On top of that I was rushing to use the restroom and had to hurry and lock it. He then tells me to download an app for roadside assistance which is more of a headache that u can’t just call. I asked was there a fee and he said no and when I downloaded the app it stated it would be $315. I called back just for the employee to laugh and hang up multiple times. He called back an hour later stating I was lucky he found a spare key and told me to hurry and come get it cause they’re technically closed. He refused to give me his name so I had to wait to the following day and get his info from another employee. Will be contacting management and corporate if I have to. Do not waste your time at the shadeland location. I received better customer service at other locations and they make sure you have everything vs handing you a key and telling you to go find the truck. This location is very unprofessional.

Mike was literally the worst employee unprofessional and literally helped the woman behind me before me. I had a reservation I had to cancel never go there horrible service . Told me he wasn’t helping me until he had my attention what does that even mean

This is the most horrible Uhaul store i have ever dealt with. The staff is very rude and want to basically charge you whatever they want. We filled the truck with fuel after returning it but we were still charged for fuel. When we protested they said will charge us more if we don’t keep quiet.
