As a 30 plus year resident, I Did not partake in food due to an over-whelming sense of vanilla-floral smell sitting inside at bar.Have not been to UnionnJacks since their migration across the street from the original.Staff, especially bartender, had zero personality, and seemed offended by guests of all sorts gathered from their talk!Broadripple is a crime-infested and gun-ridden community, so I empathize with them!I think food is still good from visuals and phone orders taken by bartender, but was thwarted off by over-powering odors of floral and other scents!! Again, not the historical vibe it once was!!Very sad.

I'm giving this four stars because the food is decent. It's British food, what were you expecting, five star cuisine? But this place is fantastic because the ATMOSPHERE. It is mainly a soccer bar. Kids are allowed, even in the adult section if they have a guardian with them. If you're coming here for a nice family dinner, maybe check liverpools schedule because if they are playing, you won't get in. I'm a Liverpool supporter, so this is my favorite place to go to watch matches, because it has a Liverpool fan club. So if you're a Liverpool fan, 1000% recommend. If you're a normal person, go, but not on a Saturday morning, or whenever there is gonna be a big match on. You will not get seated, and it will be loud. Also don't come if you're a man united fan YOU LOT AREN'T WELCOME HERE

Friendly soccer bar, good food, rotating beer selection. Gets a bit busy for Liverpool matches and Indy Eleven away games.Vegetarian options: UJ has made a real effort to create vegetarian and vegan menu options, and to introduce those to a wider audience. The seitan wings are delicious! This is absolutely a place I'd bring a vegetarian friend!

I recently had an experience with Drew, and unfortunately, I must leave a 1-star review as I found him to be unhelpful and not responsive to my needs.

Did the holiday lights trolley from here. The waiter they brought in for the night did a great job. Food was good and had a good beer selection.

Went here on a rare return trip to Indy to get a pork tenderloin. It was awesome. Still craving a pizza again from here, maybe next time.

Little bummed since they moved. New location lost a lot of it's original vibe. Lighting is very bright now and doesn't have the right feel. Seems like you're under a spot light in certain places under investigation.

Saw the story on Fox 59 and decided to come today.. we sat in the bar, a guy dropped off waters and walked away.. didn't ask if we wanted anything to drink, a long time went by before a bartender asked if we wanted anything.. we planned on eating but just had a drink.. heading to somewhere where service is better.. good luck staying open when you treat paying customers like this.. fyi, the bar had minimal customers.

Got the vegan fishless filet and chips for takeout. It comes with slaw and tartar sauce. Picture is what I received. The filets are fine, but the same product you can just buy at the grocery store. I'm glad they have vegan options, but I can't believe someone let this go out the door. Especially for $13Vegetarian options: I've heard the jackfruit is the best option.

Union Jack is not only an Indy staple, but a pillar of the community. Since new ownership in the 10s, everything that was lacking about UJP was suddenly fulfilled. Everyone on staff is very welcoming and ready to help with the massive drink list, and anyone working here deserves a medal for serving the footy crowds with grace and swiftness. The kitchen is consistently updating the menu with the times and running great specials. The favorites are all still here and made well. I'll always be indebted to UJP for getting me deeply into football. Arsenal, til I die!

I gotta say, Union Jack is one of my new favorite spots in Broad Ripple! I had not been surprisingly. That is, until now!We came on Labor Day at around 5 PM and they weren’t busy and had plenty of tables. Our waitress was cool and attentive to us. We started out with the pretzel breadsticks as an appetizer, those were amazing! Hot, soft, and salty! The Queso on the side was good too!I got the Tenderloin Sandwich with fries as my entree. And overall, the sandwich was good! It was crispy, seasoned really well, although, it was a tiny bit over cooked and was very crunchy in some places. Wasn’t the biggest fan of that.Their fries though… Oh my gosh they had to be some of the best ones I’ve eaten in a long time. They were loaded with seasoning, fried to perfection. It did cost $2 extra but boy it was so worth it.Overall, Union Jack is a place I’ll be returning to! If you’re in Broad ripple looking for bar food, give this place a shot! They got a big menu!Kid-friendliness: They allow kids! The bar is 21+

Union Jack's was nice. The servers were good and checked on us often. The food was good and my burger was cooked to rare as asked for. That alone is "good".
