My first visit at URban Beauty Supply, and I must say that I was absolutely impressed with them. It's a husband/wife team, and they are so amazing. Using entering, the husband welcomed us and asked if we needed help finding anything. He asked a few more questions to make sure to find us exactly what we were trying to find. Let me just point out here that my daughter and I are white. That being said, our hair structure and the way it reacts to chemicals, and we have fewer styling options, do to the weakness of our hair shafts. Black, Hispanic, and Asian hair has upwards of 15 layers, white hair has 3.Because of this, in tge past, I've been made to feel like I was shopping in tge wrong place, or products being sold were not directed toward me ethnicity, and I could get few answers to my questions.NOT HERE!!They were so friendly and helpful. They didn't try to up-sale me, and I didn't feel like my questions were silly.I felt so at home, so comfortable, and I seriously was in a better mood after visiting Urban Beauty!They told me if ever there was anything, any product i may want to try, or want them to carry, to just give them a call. I had the very best experience there, and I just hope they have unimagined success. They deserve it.I felt like these two were old friends I'd not seen in a while. We laughed and carried on, and I wanted to go have a drink with them by the time I was leaving. I most definitely will go back and shop there! It was an amazing experience.I must also touch on the amazing prices. My little girl was undecided about what type of hair extensions she wanted, either on a track or clip-ins. I was taught about the pros and cons of each other, and they also helped us with color matching. Because their prices were MORE than just affordable, I was able to buy a package of each so she could try both. We were taught how to install each type, and finally, we needed glue. The two types that were frequently bought the most was shown to us, the wife says to me, "NOW, this one is the least expensive and it's not much different than this one; the more expensive one. They both hold well, they last about the same amount of time, and the more expensive one dries faster....that'sabout the only difference. It comes down to personal choice" I got the more expensive bottle. Not because she was a high-pressure sales associate, but because she was so honest about them both. I felt like she just wanted to educate me, not make money from me.Seriously, I could not tell you how much I love this place. This husband/wife team really LOVE what they do. And they KNOW their products. They aren't selling things they know nothing about just to make a profit!!!! I would almost bet that either one or both of them went to a cosmetology school. If not, I'll bet they take advantage of any trin8ng offered by any of the product companies and manufacturers that offer it!.I never had been there, never met these ppl before, and I can not WAIT to ho back!!

This beauty store is so neat and the owner was there. What a great guy. I love the atmosphere, pricing is great. As a woman of color living on the Southside, it is refreshing to have a hair store that caters to my hair needs. I can't wait to see them expand. Highly recommend you shop!

Love, love, love them black own beauty supply with the products I didn’t expect for them to carry. I’m new here to Indy just moved from Chicago so I’ve been shopping around to find my home beauty supply and I think I found it soon as you walk in your greeted by this amazing duo who extends more than just help they listen they recommend on top of willing to get products that I request when I saw that they had the whole selection of she’s bomb I’m like yeah this the spot on top of the prices being so affordable 10 out of 10 I recommend!!

The employees are super nice, the customer service was amazing. The store is easy to maneuver through. Everything is super easy to find. Prices are absolutely amazing. Overall a great friendly place to be. I highly recommend visiting!!!

We were in a crunch for an event in the area and found this Black owned hair supply store. This husband and wife duo had great customer service. They were able to find us a similar product of which we needed. Thanks for pulling us through during our roadtrip!
