Gym is nice and has a good variety of things to do. Only a few complaints about the place. It seems like there's always an issues with the weight machines and I'm not sure if its just from other people not treating the machines with respect or what but it seems like there's constantly machines not working.I used to see team members cleaning the cardio machines but it seems to be lacking lately. I'll use machines that seem to be covered in I believe sweat from others and people don't do a great job of cleaning the whole machine if they do sweat all over it.They also play music which I do not mind but they have been playing it so loud in recent weeks. I don't want to have to turn my own headphones up so loud just to be able to hear my own music. It annoying and irritating having the music so loud. Especially when you're trying to cool down and just relax a bit. You can't even hear yourself think because because of how loud it is.I know some of things are out of their control but it would be nice to see a little change. It seems like staff doesn't care as much as they used to when they first opened in keeping the place clean and tidy.

Staff very unprofessional, 10 people coming you to you asking are you almost done or can they jump in and do a few sets. Like come on. Just not enough equipment per the bodies working out. Sauna used by both genders at the same time. My membership is free due to my heath insurance, I went the day I signed up and I’ll not be going back. I got my message to get my barcode but never did it due to me never going back again.

Good place to workout. Fairly new. Nice open floors. Too bad they only have 1 basketball court.

Great place, great Gym!They need to fix the water fountains but that's literally my only complaint. The coaches are fantastic. Gym is clean and well spaced. Absolutely love coming with a friend to enjoy the place

The gym is nice but the sauna and pool are almost never working. Just get the $10 membership. With the other ones you pay for nothing.

It is my personal goal to leave bad reviews everywhere and anywhere possible for VASA. My family is about to pull out of their memberships too if they're even able to escape.First, I thought this was great-- seemed cheap and friendly. I'm someone who really needs a push and encouragement to exercise; I saw potential here particularly with personal training. I've wanted to improve, and I've been trying to for years. So I figured I'd check out the program.I met with the lady I wanted to have as my personal trainer during the free consultation. It seemed very promising and she was sweet. However, at the end, she was shoving all these prices and such in my face and of course encouraging the highest cost. I was overwhelmed, willing to try something, and had the ability to splurge a little (aka make an investment for a healthier me). I signed it, and I can't get out. I know-- a contract is a contract. However, the service I am getting is not what I signed up for! Here are some of the issues:1. The coach I originally wanted had absolutely no free times for me so I get passed to a random guy-- I'm uncomfortable with having a guy as my coach and expressed that preference.2. The coach I got does not communicate well, does not encourage or motivate me, nor give me exercise 'homework' or tips...These things are promised on the website and in the consultation. Scheduling with him has also been difficult. I have zero confidence or hope of gaining anything from this.3. The diet/nutrition guide is a JOKE. It's a short lists of good foods to eat...that's it. It's such common knowledge and a simple google search printed on paper or screenshot from the coach. The training claims to be for beginners to seasoned clients...You cannot be excused from this contract no matter what...My financial situation drastically and unforeseeably changed. I've called and emailed so many times. I've been told that they contacted the management team for me weeks and weeks ago. I ask for a number or email of the management team or anyone higher up... they say they can't provide that information to me?!! And I swear if another VASA rep tells me the 2 ways I can end the contract (moving 25 miles or more away or selling it to someone else), I'll LOSE my mind!I want this to end. Their program is deceiving, I'm so financially stressed, I'm discouraged, and I'm stuck with the failures of VASA'S NOT so personal training. I've had actual progress when I sporadically forced myself to exercise more, and when I tried a different program in the past.I really am a chill person; I'm not someone to leave reviews or sound mean- I am just THAT angered and disappointed.

This place is OK, if you are already a gym goer, they don't have a circuit workout area, and the classes are mostly early in the morning or late in the evening. For most of the classes you have to pay for, there is an additional fee for guests, you have to pay the price of the membership to cancel. The tour was basic, I rather go to the Y or another gym.

Great gym but they need a plumber. 3 of 4 sinks in men’s restroom don’t work. Urinal is out of service! 3+ months!30 days later, loose water fixtures, soap dispensers not working, Home Depot bucks still under sinks!

I've been trying to get into shape, and VASA Fitness is making it so simple to do so. The Studios have been an excellent addition to my morning routine. In most cases, I'll acquire a gym membership but then never utilize it. I now spend a significant portion of my mornings at VASA Fitness. What a fantastic fitness center!

I really love this gym but you can never use any of the weights people sit on them just on their phone and doing nothing. I have been here for over 1 hour and the same persons have been on the machines just sitting there. Someone need to set time limits or something. This is the very reason some people I know have cancelled their memberships because they never can use the machines.Thoughts ~

Pool has been broken for 3 weeks and counting. Between the sauna and whirlpool, either one is always broken. Members aren’t held to cleaning up machines after themselves and staff is always on their phones at the front desk instead of cleaning. Only time I see them on the floor is when they are getting their pt pay. The wipe areas are always empty. Any gym else is better. At least you know you are getting you pay that amount.

Trash-- especially training sessions.Try Orange Theory, Noom, Weight Watchers, or literally anything else. I am extremely unsatisfied with my personal training services, and I have been having an unproductive and frustrating time with the Membership Services Team.I've made phone calls, emails, and even sent a letter to cancel the service I have not been receiving. Apparently, VASA is run by ghosts and they 'don't' have corporate supervisors or any higher ups.PT-- I have had to remind my trainer of my presence and have tried communicating with him with no timely response on his end. Ex: I have had to remind him to forward me the nutrition guide (this guide is simplistic and full of common knowledge), I have had to remind him of my goals, I have had an extremely difficult time being scheduled, and I have had to remind him of my asthma and previous ACL surgery. In addition, I never received a personalized routine for my time outside of training sessions. I find myself discouraged and left to dry to say the least. This is the worst-case scenario for a single teacher who recently bumped into some financial hardships---and I want to emphasize here that this is not even my reason for requesting a refund and contract cancelation; I would be MORE than willing to push through and make this personal investment IF the service fulfilled its promises. As for the Membership Services Team, one of the most frustrating parts would be trying to contact any of them. When I finally did, I received repetitive and almost automatic responses. They did not consider what I have countlessly communicated--not to mention that I was only contacted after they saw a couple of negative reviews I left. Since then, I have been relentlessly reminded of the two ways I can cancel the contract, I have been offered a different trainer, they offered to freeze my contract for 90 days, and they offered to cancel the autorenewal portion of the personal training contract. If they even viewed my account, they would have seen that the autorenewal portion had already been cancelled, and they would have seen that I had frozen my contract weeks ago myself. Lastly, I certainly do not want another trainer based on my negative experiences thus far.I am now left to sit and pay the remaining 6 fees until I've found an unfortunate soul to buy the contract that was apparently made by Rumpelstiltskin (which I have had zero success or assistance with).VASA misrepresented personal training services with false advertising, and their contract is unconscionable. My trainer was supposed to help me stay motivated and focused on my goals, as well as keep me accountable. They did not do so, yet I unfairly must make monthly $200 payments with no benefits or services in return????????I have had more progress, accountability, and positive experiences with Orange Theory, Noom, and Weight Watchers-- programs which do not promise to be personal or as communicative as a one-on-one personal trainer should be.Guess I have to take this to a small claims court since they're not choosing to do what is moral or just.

I rate this a 4 because, the staff nice, the equipment is great. But the problem I have, it’s packed all the time. Regardless if you come early or stay late. Need more locations. I wish there was one closer to Downtown. That would be nice.
