This pharmacy has difficulty filling our prescriptions 75% of the time. They don't have the correct medications listed when you try to renew by phone. If you put prescriptions on auto refill, they are always out of stock and you have to call to tell them to order more. We have to explain how to run your insurance 9 out of 10 times. They never pick up the telephone if you try to call the pharmacy directly, and the wait is excessively long. They aren't always open on the weekends, so you go to pick up your medication and no one is there . We typically have gaps in our care for days or weeks because of the above reasons.

The pharmacy in store is closed on the weekend. Was not notified that the store was closed in need of a prescription at the store is desperately needed. After calling another Walgreens they informed me there’s nothing they can do because it’s already been billed in the system at Walgreens on 79th St. the pharmacist there is very rude unprofessional and at this point this store just needs to be closed down!

The pharmacy never has my prescription ready unless I call, even when I wait 6+ hours after they receive my prescription from the doctor. Once I call, they always get it ready within 30 minutes, but I don't understand why they can't get it ready before I have to call. It wouldn't be such a big deal if they answered the phone promptly, but lately when I call, it takes 20 minutes or more before I can get on the line with someone. Such a frustrating process.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs! Very poorly managed and understaffed. If you have a prescription that requires calling the pharmacy to get a refill get used to waiting on hold for 30-55 minutes or more every time you call. Also they are closed on Saturday and Sunday!

I was referred to this pharmacy by the Immediate Care on Pen Pike because the Walgreens on Pendleton Pike across the street from Immediate Care sucked! It was slow and often lacked enough medications to fulfill my prescription or closed due to staff not reporting to work.
Initially, my experience at this location was satisfactory, but unfortunately, things have significantly deteriorated over the past year.
I want to emphasize, as other reviewers have noted, that if you need something urgently, you will not receive it on time. I’m not sure what the typical time frame is for filling prescriptions, but I frequently receive notifications stating that my prescriptions are in progress. However, it often takes over a week for them to be filled. When I’ve gone in personally to inquire about the delays, the usual excuses I hear are, “I’m sorry, we’re short-staffed,” or I receive text messages indicating that the pharmacy will be closing early or will be closed for the day due to staffing issues.
As of today, I'm waiting on a script my doctor sent in on Wednesday. Now, they are CLOSED ON WEEKENDS!
This situation is unacceptable and has become a persistent problem at most, if not all, Walgreens locations.

The cashier did not greet me when I walked in. The cashier also did not greet me as I was checking out. I requested my purchases to be double bagged and she handed me the bag instead of bagging it up !! … In addition to that she seemed like she was frustrated with the transaction and was unprofessional. Perhaps she needs some additional training or a new profession.

Why do they not have self check out! They really should! The employee did not even want to talk to me,if I see this employee again I will not be shopping here!!!!! Please do not leave an owner response or any response. I have a severe condition and your responsible adversely impact me. Thank you!

Customer service has gone downhill. The pharmacy is ridiculous. I cannot ever get my prescriptions in a timely manner. So very rude, including the pharmacist.
