I’ve always donated my used items here because I felt it was the better option for less fortunate families in our area because the prices were much better than Goodwill, they provide a food pantry for the community and also help support local people in hardships. For the first time in a long time I went in to browse the store and found that everything has skyrocketed in price. From $10 for a pair of used jeans, $8 for a used non-expensive handbag, $10+ for most heavy jackets and coats. I can unfortunately say that Goodwill is cheaper. The price gouging at StVDP is crazy and disappointing considering everything that is in their store is given to them for free. There’s a nice little church ran thrift store on 4th Street in Huntingburg that will be getting my donations from now on.

This so called Christian store needs a lesson in business ethics. Telling customers they're closed, several minutes before they close and telling them to leave the store is rude and a terrible business practice.its even worse than turning lights off on customers 15 minutes before closing time. If you're open until 4 PM you're open until 4 PM period. I have little desire to return and be treated so rudely after being a customer for many years.

Very organized, so much variety, clean, with plenty of space to shop in a busy store. People line up at the doors waiting for it to open at 11am.
