“Like no place Ive ever been. You will FEEL it !Its not just a catchy name ... this place embodies this story."The story of the Samaritan woman, also known as the woman at the well, draws our attention to the central themes of the Gospel. By approaching her, Jesus demonstrates His care for all, regardless of their social standing. We can also be inspired by the Samaritan woman's excitement in sharing the good news of Jesus."”
“St Joan of Arc is a pleasant atmosphere. They hold firm to the faith and show no major signs of backsliding. The people are friendly and the priests are supportive. I found Fr Shocklee to be a bit distant, due to his large number of responsibilities as Sr pastor. Fortunately there are many others to also help. The RCIA group goes over a lot of material and is good for those already convinced. My biggest concern is they don't spend enough time helping skeptics with individual subjects or their personal doubts, instead throwing a bunch of books their way without an organized reading plan, and jumping from one aspect to another way too quickly. Spending at least a month on certain subjects (like intercessionary prayer) and giving out enforced required reading assignments, like in school, would go a long way to help skeptics develop a deeper understanding, and hopefully a change of heart.”
“Nice place to call your church home. From the first day we attended, we were greeted by the senior pastor and his wife and they made us feel welcome. We have been to other churches but none felt like home, until now. Children love coming here and there is a teen youth group which is large and the teens are very involved with the church. It is a safe place to take your children as there is a safety check put in place so only a certain few can check in and check out the children. Sincerely recommend this church to anyone who wants to truly feel the love of God and his people who are within this church. Thank you One Church for everything you have done for me and my family. God bless all of you.”
“There is MUCH I could say, but in a nutshell... Bridgeway is a place where you can belong BEFORE you believe. A place that encourages the expression of doubts and fears as a means to ultimately find peace. People who are genuinely happy to see you - regardless of WHO you are - they are just glad you chose to join them. Bridgeway is easily one of, if not THEE most authentic faith-based communities I've ever been a part of! Don't throw in the towel before you give this place a shot... and no, they won't be offended if they're your last resort ;)”
