I’ve been banking there my whole life but I will be switching banks. Very dismissive and rude employees. They don’t sent debit cards before they expire and they don’t print them in house. I have been without a credit card for almost a month and they say there’s “nothing they can do”. DO NOT BANK HERE

With them for 26 years. Poor customer service on phone and in the lobby. Rude and snappy. Big turnover of employees. That in itself says something. I actually had a young female teller arguing with me as to how I was making my vehicle payment each month. Seriously?! I've had to get a new debit card at least twice a year on average because of fraudulent charges. I'm over it. I meant nothing to those people. Stand there and tell me to my face how I make my car payment each month!! Wow. Customer service on the phone is very poor. I've experienced very rude people in the last couple weeks trying to figure things out on my checking account and being told that it wasn't their problem very rudely over and over. I told her she was mean to me. Anyway no worries. I closed my account today. Well I have to wait two weeks to officially consider it closed. I have to go through setting up direct deposit etc with a different bank now. Hmmm I gotta call City of first tomorrow and ask them if the life insurance policy is void now that I have as a member. Oh no. That's another problem. Paying all these years for that coverage. Anyway as you can see I will never recommend this bank for business or personal to anyone. Rant over.

My family has been banking here for over 35 years. We have always known all the people working inside the bank and have never had issues with getting the help we need. Recently, there have been several fraud charges made to multiple accounts of people I know and myself. When this issue was brought to their attention, they said they could do nothing for us but shut our cards down. In the past when this would happen sparsely, they would void the transaction, re-inburst you, and then take on the claim themselves for their company. Now, a family member was met with the manager rolling her eyes at them and gritting their teeth as if they had better things to do than help their customers and said it's too late to do anything.Today, I was told to just shut down my entire card (one that I am very dependent on and have everything connected to). I was met with a very rude associate cutting me off saying "Can I talk now? Are you done?" She later apologized and said it was because they have been absolutely flooded with the exact same issue dozens of times in just the course of today, let alone even more from the whole week and because she was new and didn't know how debit card processes even worked for issues like this. When I went in, there wasn't a single familiar face. It's as if the entire staff has suddenly been replaced. No wonder they haven't been as professional or inviting over the past year or so. How should I feel comfortable with opening a new card under this bank, if this seems to be a massive reoccurring issue of fraud? That also seems to not be addressed well either if it is continuously happening? I don't trust banking here anymore and am highly considering closing my accounts with this bank. Too many issues with barely any action taking place or care for their customers.

City of Firsts debited an incorrect amount for a credit card ACH payment from my external financial institution and they do not have an answer as to why. Even though I have receipt and confirmation codes for the correct authorized amount to be debited, that wasn’t. They said it would be researched, and gave me an ETA for correction/communication and I still have had no follow up communication whatsoever. They also have been unable to locate me in their banking system on multiple occasions even though I have an active credit card. They also called me about fraud on my credit card in May, when they told me the fraud that they were calling about occurred in December of the prior year? I’m not sure why it took so long for them to notify me of the fraud. When I asked them why such a delay in notifying me (months later) they weren’t sure either. Disorganized chaos, negative experience, wouldn’t recommend.

If you lose your debit card you pay for a new one did you end up losing a few where they get stolen they will keep you from getting a debit card period. It will be harder on you even if you even though you pay for your card.

actual customer support...I travel for a living and quite frankly. i'm tired of being locked out of my bank account when i'm 2,000 miles away from home and have to wait till the next day to be able to access my money. I have stated MULTIPLE TIMES to City of Firsts that i travel A LOT. And if they see multiple charges in different states within a day or two. TO NOT LOCK ME OUT OF MY ACCOUNT! As of right now this makes #9 of being locked out of my account in 2 years. I think it's time to switch to a new bank.

Lack of compassion and courtesy in the wake of a devastating death in my family. I'd move your financial security to anywhere else.

if your card becomes compromised due to fraud, they (coffcu) will charge you $15 for a new card. Given the circumstances, a new replacement card should be issued for free. Other credit unions in town offer free replacements due to fraud and I'll be taking my business to them.
