Worst. Service. Ever. I've been using this CVS since before it was a CVS because I grew up in the neighborhood. The pharmacist there has always been rude but this was the absolute worst. My daughter is home on fall break. Her original prescription was sent to this pharmacy. The second time we had it filled we picked it up in Indianapolis because that is where she goes to school. Less than a week after she picked it up it stopped working. Called the pharmacy and asked what the protocol is for this type of thing. Spoke to a very nice tech who suggested we call the manufacturer. Called AstraZeneca. They said to call the pharmacy back and give them the claim number and phone number and they would replace the inhaler with no charge. I called back and the pharmacist guy answered. Incredibly rude, but I continued to try to kill him with kindness. Explained the situation and he cut me off and said, "They didn't tell you that. It's not how it works. They give you the billing information for them." I said, no that that is not how they explained it to me. I again repeated. He basically spoke in one word demands the rest of the call. "Claim number? Phone number?" and then hung up on me. Called me back a few minutes later and said that he was on hold with AstraZeneca but saw that we didn't pick up the last refill in Kokomo and that I should try the Indianapolis store to get it replaced. I said no because she isn't in Indianapolis now, she is on break in Kokomo. He kept fighting with me and wanted me to go to Indianapolis to get it replaced. Finally I said NO WE WANT IT TO BE REPLACED HERE!. He basically yelled at me saying that he was trying to help me and I told him he was the rudest pharmacist I've ever dealt with. He hung up on me after screaming at me, "YOU WANT IT HERE OR THERE?" I said "HERE" and he hung up. Called back seconds later and told me the inhaler was ready to pick up. My daughter gets to the pharmacy and the rude cashier refuses to give it to her because it is name brand and that she has to pay. She tried to explain but she wasn't having it. Finally another nice tech came and explained the situation. The rude cashier basically through the box at my daughter, not even in a bag. We are switching every one of our scripts somewhere else, even if they are more expensive.

Pharmacy guy, I believe his name was John, has horrible customer service skills. Short, rude, acts like he doesn’t want to be there, and his facial expressions were very telling. Hope I never have to deal with him again.

Overall, had a great experience with the people at the register and their employees helping me and being very informative and patient. I’m very disappointed, though in the service that I received a few days ago when I was purchasing a card to pay my Verizon bill. My debit card has been compromised and I was looking to pay my bill and the only way that it was possible was Loading a cash app card, which wasn’t mine or to buy a Verizon refillable card. Say I am out $30 because the gentleman that helped me told me that the card would be appliable to My Verizon account when it was only usable for a prepaid Verizon phone account. Not one that has a contract. I tried to return the unused Verizon prepaid wireless card, and even though the employee misdirected me and gave me the wrong card to load I was the one that had to foot the bill and wasn’t able to return it. Needless to say that I am out $30 and no way to get my money back. My phone bill was not paying in full and now I have a late charge also thanks cvs 🙈😞

If I could give a negative I would. This is the worst pharmacy ever. I went to the minute clinic and was seen by a person training with the real doctor. They sent in my prescription and waited 20minutes for them to tell me that the prescriber is t covered by my insurance. So the pharmacist told me to ask to see if the other dr could get it sent under her name. I spent another hour waiting and they never told me when anything was ready I spent almost 2 and a half hours.

Tried calling the Pharmacy three times because the app would not refill a prescription that I always do through the app. Was hung on twice immediately just picked up the phone and put it back down. 3rd time calling I asked the person immediately please don't hang up and he called me a liar saying no one hung up on me. He said his name was Nedar. We proceeded to try to refill two prescriptions and he again calling me a lair saying i have never been able to refill that prescription through the app or even by calling in and i have to contact my doctor. When I pointed out i have in fact done this for 6 months on the app, never had to call my doctor and I don't apricate being called a lair and would like to speak to someone else starts screaming at me he is the head pharmacist and he not let me speak and every time i tried he would just yell over me. Needless to say I will be moving my prescriptions to a different company moving forward.

Never going back here after how awfully I was treated a few months ago. On top of how abhorrent the pharmacy staff were over the phone while I was just trying to find out where to have my prescription sent, I was sent over from another CVS to get vaccinations they didn’t have in stock and it was as if I had ruined the tech’s entire day. I wasn’t told what vaccines were out of stock, I was just told to go to this one. When I was asked, I said so. “I don’t know, I was told to come here for the few I scheduled.” She had the gall to reply, “WELL, do you know your BIRTHDAY?”
As if I were the sole cause for every inconvenience in her life.

For financial reasons I decided to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy. The pharmacist at this CVS store. Refused to comply. To summarize, it took numerous calls to managers, corporate and doctors to get the situation remedied……10 days later. 10 days without necessary medications. 10 days of intense debilitating pain. Because a pharmacist did not want to be “inconvenienced” by having to restock medication. Side note: absolutely ZERO follow up from three calls to corporate.

The whole CVS company sucks. It gets one star. However, I think the employees at this location work hard and try to do their best to help the community. So, I'll give it 4 stars. Now, if your app shows that a successful prescription transfer worked, then, six hours later, I get an email that says there's a debacle and tells me to call the local pharmacy and provides the phone number and I call... don't tell me "you don't know nuthin" and to call the number on the email. That's your number! Then, don't blame it on another pharmacy that had absolutely nothing to do with the 100% all CVS app feature. It is your company that can't get it right! After deflecting all the blame, you could've tried asking what I needed to transfer while you had me on the phone. But instead, you wanted me off that phone immediately. I would hate to work for your company and get the customer flack from the app and website debacles. But, I would at least take the extra time and patience to help when though I'm tired of it all.

I understand that we are short on pharmacists, but for the pharmacist who work at CVS, please at least attempt to be helpful and polite. If you are that miserable, get out of retail.
