The Izaak Walton League is a private shooting club with a beautiful range and property. Members regularly shoot pistols, shotguns, skeet, and trap. The regular range is large with many options, though some note a desire for more effort on the rifle range backstop and layout. It is a quiet place for target practice, especially in the mornings. The club hosts rimfire matches and involves youth, with members expressing a wish for even more diversified activities to engage younger shooters. The organization is also recognized for its stand on preserving clean waters and land for wildlife.
