I recently had some VHS tapes shipped to this UPS Store from an auction house, and I was initially shocked when I was quoted around $200 for shipping. I called the store to see if there was anything I could do to reduce the cost, and Stacy answered the phone.
From the very beginning, Stacy was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. I explained my situation and asked if I could leave behind a few of the items from my auction order to help bring down the shipping cost. She was more than willing to work with me. She went through the items one by one with me, asking which ones I still wanted and which ones I was okay leaving behind.
She could have easily just told me what the shipping cost was and left it at that, but instead, she took the time to actually help me find a solution. She was friendly, understanding, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I had a good experience and that the shipping cost was reasonable.
Stacy absolutely went above and beyond, and she is the definition of great customer service. Employees like her are the reason customers remember and recommend a business.
