Kouts Dollar General is in sad shape and has been for over a year. The store hours constantly change...and some days at 1pm you can go there and a sign is posted "closed for the day". This month the hours are 9am to 6pm Mon thru Fri...I'm serious. The store is filthy and in constant disarray. They have trouble keeping employees, and the few they do have are either on drugs, rude as heck, or just don't give a dang. Can't believe the store owners don't know what's going on. If I could give NO stars, I would.

Frozen food is often expired, so be cautious when buying from this location. The turnover rate is high here, too, because of how poorly managed it is and the poor treatment the workers are subjected to. I recommend avoiding this store at all costs.

Ownership should do Society, City of Kouts, and Themselves a favor and sell the dollar store to someone else. On several occasions, the store is closed for days at a time. Because they can’t find people to work or every individual quit at once. Usually after something like this happens more than once, there’s unforeseen circumstances causing this to repeat. The ownership as list touch with reality and doesn’t realized the world has changed irreparably since Covid-19. Businesses that pay $7.25 an hourreceive exactly what they’re paying for, minimum wage, means minimum dedication, and effort. To support my stance, every time I enter that store there’s new people working there.

Worse store ever. Closes any time of the day, always something they don't have in stock. Corporate should step in and help store find employees that are actually willing to do their job

Speechless!!!! To much bad attitude. Store is a mess. Go there a month later chips are on sale they ring up regular price question the sales person they then take down sales price and say sorry regular price. What a joke

Cashiers are excellent, friendly and extremely hard working. Upper management should be forced to work in stores alone as employees do. Treat your employees better, maybe they wouldn't call off.

Great place to pick items up quick. Staff is always friendly just wish it were a little larger store. However for the size they do pack alot in there.
