Checks ordered for my account at this branch printed incorrectly and unusable. Temporary checks printed up at this branch (with correct account information) are not processing. App is available, but to date has not functioned. Direct deposit paycheck for this account took seven months to kick in. I'm very disappointed with Horizon for my banking needs. The problems listed above have caused difficulties paying my bills despite having more than adequate funds. I came to Horizon with an "Exceptional" fico score. The negligence of this bank is putting my fico score in jeopardy.

My family has kept account at La Porte Savings Bank and now Horizon Bank for over 20 years and we're very satisfied with their service. I get to know some of the staff and have had helpful employees resolve any problems that I encounter. We're staying.

As far as banks go literally bottom of the barrel. I've dealt with fraud over 7+ times in the last two years and they take weeks to refund me and make it a difficult process, where I have to call multiple people and talk to the manager. I've even had to call other locations to get it resolved. There security is severely lacking whatever it is that they have in place. I've never had this issue with another "bank". We have e-statements and direct deposit and there are monthly service charges that still occur. We have thankfully switched to a smaller local bank and no issues!! This last fraud on my account they decided to no longer deal with me and not refund me anything. The company refunded most of it and I closed the accounts. Please re-consider where to put your hard earned income, because this bank in particular will not protect it.

Getting a car loan here was a nightmare...twice! Always some kind of trouble on their end. I'm switching banks.
