Woodforest is great but let me tell you right now...Ty, the branch manager here in LaPorte, is PHENOMENAL. Talk about a blessing. Plus, she has been there for SIX years. That consistency and loyalty speak volumes and keeps me banking with Woodforest. I'd give her extra stars if I could.

They just seem to close up when ever they want to since covid happened. Hours of operation means you are there until close time, then you do your closing operations. Not closed and gone before your even supoose to be closed!

I chose this bank for convenience purposes, but I'm highly disappointed with their customer service. I opened a savings account years ago, did very little with the account, I closed a checking account with my previous bank to open a checking with Woodforest. My direct deposit went to my savings until it went Into the new checking. All I did was ask the bank teller why I have these fees? Her first question was " Did you ask to speak with a manager? " No? Why you can't help me? She was rude about it, said a savings account should be used for savings only. Well Duh!!! All these fees were discussed with you when you opened the account... I didn't need a lecture, tried to explain the situation but she didn't want to hear it... Then tells me my mobile deposit takes a week to process!!?? What?? Come to find out she lied. It takes 24 hours before 10 am. Why couldn't she tell me that. I'm seriously thinking of closing my account with them.

The workers are friendly but I don't like the fees. They do have convenient hours are open when most other banks are not. Mixed feelings about it.

There is always a fee every month and each time they give a different excuse to what it is for paperless, direct deposit, lack of direct deposit, having under $100 in the account at the end of the month..... The list goes on and on!!! It's rediculous!
