I got my cat here about a year ago. When we adopted him his name was Strider but we changed it to Binx after adoption. My parents are not very big cat people but after meeting Binx, they couldn’t help but admit he was a pretty spectacular cat. Being a college student can be very depressing and after getting Binx i could feel my mental health improve. Their adoption prices are reasonable and they were very helpful with the adoption process.

I adopted both of my cats from here. They are living great and healthy lives. Show some love to your local animal shelters and humane societies!

Me and my daughter went to look for a puppy for a friend for our dog. We found one names peaches and she was the cutest. We filled out the application and they told us to bring or dog up there for a meet and great. We brought him up there keep in mind when my dog meets dogs behind a fence he likes to bark but no aggression when hes in the fence with the dog. So because he had barked at her they told us that we could not have her because she thinks that the puppy will be to high energy. well it has been a while we got a puppy from someone else and paid way less then what we would have had to if we got peaches. our dog is doing just fine with the puppy and they play all the time. They broke my daughters heart she really loved peaches it was like love at first sight. We are now doing jut fine with a different puppy and my dogs just fine with him. So don't just assume that a dogs aggressive just because they bark. And we had met another dog while there and she came in and she had poop all over her and smelled terrible.

I went in at the beginning of this month and adopted 2 guinea pigs (a day after my mom adopted hers). We got the same Complimentary vet papers that she did. Out of the Lafayette and west Lafayette area they had 4 locations, 2 of which were out of service. The one I could get in contact with didn't have an availability til the end of this month....no problem I thought. They wouldn't sell/adopt out sick animals.... Well after being well taken care of and loved like crazy they both died just shy of 24 hours of each other about 3 weeks later (didn't even survive til the appointment).
We were told by staff that they came from a hoarding situation where the person had around 600 guinea pigs....I would have thought that they would have got them checked out and quarantined in a situation with that much air quality issues if they weren't properly cared for.
I would have preferred to pay a little bit more for the adoption if they would have already had them checked out when they got neutered.
And it is also a questionable on if the one that my mom adopted the day before has lost weight and is starting to have the same issues as the other 2.
What was meant to be my 10 and 12 year old daughter's emotional support animals has now caused them more grief.
Do better people. If this does not get fixed I'm going to find out who to report it to

I’m giving 5 stars because when I called the lady told me she only had a couple bags of cat food left and didn’t know if they would be there by the time I got there. They were up front with me and I did score a bag of cat food! A little information for you, cats are suppose to eat wet food twice a day while having hard food and water accessible at all times. So I am just wondering why you don’t offer an option of wet food, only hard?!

Took a stray cat here and they told us to abandon it and “take it back where we found it” because they’re at capacity and won’t make money on it.
