I went to go pick up my order of Onyx Storm and I had an email with my confirmation number. I was told that I should’ve kept my receipt. No one told me. I informed the staff that when I got my book the cashier was unaware of the procedure for how to do the preorder for the book (the manager had to come over and inform the cashier that she needed to do the prepaid order first before scanning my other items). When I picked up the book, the cashier was rude and sassy toward me. I have never experienced that before at a B&N. She also didn’t give me the pin and other accessories with the book. I had to run in after walking out cause I noticed that the person in front of me got the accessories with the book. 1) I was not informed I needed my receipt 2) the cashier (blue tips on her hair) should not have been rude when I suggested that something got mixed up when the cashier I prepaid with was getting help from the manager.
Horrible service, mean, and sassy. Absolutely unprofessional. My fiance and I both were absolutely mortified. I am lucky that I was able to get the book I waited a long time for.
Note: nothing in my confirmation email said I needed my receipt. It simply said come pick it up or to call a number to get it shipped. The email should have served as a receipt, as it had a confirmation number in it.

Just another company turning into shoving their membership down customers throats. Telling us we are "wrong" for not signing up for perks that use to be 5x's cheaper.
I'll just visit the little local stores from now on.
You also don't know how to run a midnight release.

Incredibly disappointed with their collection on Middle Eastern politics/history. So many titles by racist Zi0nists such as Noa Tishby displayed at front but zero from renowned Palestinian experts. Never visiting again until they improve their collection.

They've changed. They don't appear to have books for $7.98, $6.98, or $5.98 anymore. Not as good as they used to be. 😞

Always have friendly people working there. Good bargain sales on books are always happening. Always enjoy the quiet atmosphere. They are also willing to help you find the books that are out-of-print and hard-to-find.
