Few places that welcome older people that are not swimming in dollars.

I've been living at this place for almost most 4 years now and I've been harassed on several occasions by the manager and her so called maintenance. She has flunked my apartment for cleanliness even after I paid a professional the day before my last inspection I also went almost 2 years with no lock on my mailbox. The maintenance people started working on my air-conditioning about 3 years and the one in the bedroom is still in pieces when you report a maintenance issue the manager makes you feel small and treats us like children. Although they recently sold the place to Glick Family Foundation but they kept the same property manager so I don't lock for anything to change in retrospect I wished I would have never moved in but being a senior citizen on fixed income there's nowhere else that I can afford

Fowler Apts has lots of "in crowd people". They are in... you are on the perimeter. No accident. When I moved in in 2018, I was told a damaged kitchen countertop from a prior smoker wouldn't be repaired, despite my noticing countertop vendor making frequent visits to the building during my tenancy. I did not have bed bugs but wound up fighting them off for months before I moved. Very dusty there always black filament. Never identified from where it was coming. Don't know about others but my tub/toilet not designed for seniors... too small. No garbage incinerators on floors; taken down by same elevator tenants move in and out on. Considered rent too high. How did this management company do it?!Every other morning I would find one of my car tires down b/c somebody was letting the air out. It isn't hunch... someone or more individuals in that building was doing it. Why did I not keep my car in the parking lot? Most senior bldgs offer parking to tenants. At time of my tenancy, parking was $40/month.After I moved, I got inspectiom report from property mgr. She kept my security rent. No damage to apartment; she decided she wanted to rake me over the coals. She even charged me an additional $100-some dollars. BOGUS. Told by a maintenance person who disappeared before I moved, why don't I just move? "Nobody here likes you". My door had been pryed open numerable times. Came home one occasion and on securing door to my apartment, center locking part on my knob fell out onto the floor. Not a nice place for seniors looking for peace of mind and security. Sure they will figure out how to get this review removed.

Bathroom sink aerator full of mold and hot water heater. Not cleaned or repaired properly before I moved in. No longer there but still feeling effects.

They told me that they will get me another air conditioner or deep wash them out but they have promised this at the end of last year and they are evicting me because I had enough of abuse that they were putting me through and had to yell to where I will be out of my apartment in 30 days to get somewhere safe where I won't have to deal with my allergy problems

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! Landlord rules through fear and intimidation. Residents are forced to live in unacceptable conditions and no one will speak up for fear of retaliation!

I have been here 14 months now and have found the apartments wonderful. I love my one bedroom apartment and the staff is great. They are very respective and work very hard to keep the residents and apartments up to date. I am very happy here.
