we literally came in at 12 at night and did not get a room in the back till like 3:00 AM. I went with my sister and when the doctor came in, my sister’s concerns were constantly shut down and the doctor was so incredibly dismissive and rude that I was surprised. Yeah I get it she was probably busy but also we were waiting there for literally 3+ hours and she didn’t even give my sister a change to express her concerns. I wish there was another hospital in the Lafayette/WL area we could go to but we are stuck with this one!

Been in waiting room since 12:30 on a Thursday. Was taken back to get vidals around 2:00. The lady nurse started asking questions and then left and said ( didn't catch his name ) The male nurse came in after calling someone else to be checked.catch his name

Friend was brought in in an ambulance having a seizure and yet was constantly accused of faking said seizure by nurses. Asked for water multiple times and was never given any, left severely dehydrated. Medical personnel were extremely ableist and patronizing, left us for very long periods with no updates, and were cagey about telling us the actual problem. The treatment made him feel ten times worse than the symptoms.

I was charged $2000 to basically get my blood pressure checked and for them to call in a refill for my BP meds. I wasn't even in the ER itself, they put me in a side room and some traveling Doctor looked at me. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. My insurance paid 1400 of it. I'm sorry but this is ridiculous. Talk about price gouging, they are crooks!

A few months ago (May 2023) I was having a Heart attack. I was sent over by the Urgent care. They called and told them I was on my way. Got there and they put me in the Waiting room. They gave me a EKG there and I had to be there for 1 1/2 hrs. My wife had to ask what was tanking so long to get me back to the ER. They then took me back and put me in the cast room. The Nurse and aid came in and did blood tests and told me that they were sending me to do a cat scan. They put me back in the Room and never game me a call light and never came in to check on me. My wife found the call light and put it on and after 45 minutes no one showed up. So my wife had to go out and find someone just so I could use the restroom. After 4 hours and they still did not check on me. The Doctor came in and said I was a non- Emergency and to go see my doctor. Well after my doctor did some tests and Yes it shows that I did have a Heart attack. I tried to get ahold of the Patient advocate of the hospital. To make a complaint. And she blew me off. Like she did not care. What would have happened if I would have died. And by the way yes I have insurance. So why was I treated like that. Maybe I should get a hold of the News. If the hospital doesn't care.

Absolutely the worst hospital I have ever been to! WillLeave you in back with no idea as to what’s going on what so ever will not give any updates what so ever and when you ask for an update they say sure walk away and never come back! If you need to see a dr. You have better chance in an alley way in mexico then you do at this hospital!

This is a terrifying hospital with healthcare professionals delivering dangerous treatment and clumsy and incomplete diagnosis to their patients. I was given a drug without checking possible adverse reactions, and almost made me insane and unrecoverable had I not made efforts to find people who were not with me to stop the drug intake, while barely being conscious or understandable. I am still suffering from the effects after the drug was completely metabolised and excreted from my body. The best thing is that the drug does not even relate to my condition. Wow. Are they really healthcare people??? And they listen to your description of your sickness only when you’re barely conscious from their drug, not earlier or later??? How were they hoping to form a diagnosis when they make you barely aware even who you were????

We drove 2 hours here to meet a new family member that was just born. When we arrive, we are rudely informed that only 1 adult can visit at a time, and no minors are allowed to visit. My daughter was crushed because she was excited to meet her new cousin. The receptionist was very dismissive, and extremely rude. I understand policy, but it doesn’t give this person an excuse to be so unprofessional. I hope I never have to return to this place for anything.

Thank you to the ER department getting to me quickly after I thought almost loosing my finger. Caring concerned, knowledgeable never had a bad visit.

I just moved into town a few months ago. The other day I had to go to the hospital for horrible pain. Right when I walked in the nurse got me a wheelchair and I was in a room within minutes. I ended up having to stay two nights. I had to get my first surgery at this hospital and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. While I was there I was treated with the upmost respect. Everyone was so nice and caring. Right before my surgery the doctor prayed over me. This is the best hospital ever. It’s a very spiritual hospital and they always make sure to put you first and to make sure you have everything you need. I will definitely always go here. I recommend this hospital to everyone!!!
