I called for the last 2 days straight multiple times being on phone for durations of up to 5-8 min and have not been able to get anyone on a phone. I was worried as my reservation was on Saturday so I cancelled.

Had a Ford Transit all reserved and paid for in April for a Sept vacation. Arrived at my appointed time and they said the there was a backup camera recall that just hit that morning and had to send it to the shop for recall repair. They had no other vans and offered me a Buick enclaved, but I have 6 kids. No other Hertz in the state had it. I Had to scramble and find other places to rent a van when we needed to head out that morning. Found one at a local rent place. Very disappointed. They said if I had picked it up one day earlier, they said they would have had it. Iām not entirely sure I trust their story. Iāve heard that big name will rent out these vans for more money to someone else and cancel the orders that reserved way in advance at cheaper rate so I donāt know if they lied or were telling the truth. There was a backup camera recall on Transits so it could be true. Long story, if your entire trip is all planned on a big van, rent it a day early so you have a full day to scramble or for them to find you a van. Very disappointed in this experience. Iāll probably just buy a stinking van just so I never have to deal with this. The whole reason to rent a van was for vacation security so I wouldnāt have to worry about my vehicle breaking down.

I had an excellent experience here. Everyone was very attentive, and truly went out of their way yo insure renting a car was a smooth process. The rental was in excellent shape, it got me there and back with zero issues.

This location is absolute garbage. Booked a vehicle and they called 2 hours before pick up and said they had no vehicles. When I asked for the name of the person calling he hung up on me.

On the website it states they accept vemno the only card they have signs stating they donāt accept are chime wouldnāt even try my card said āIāve been here 4 yearsā their bathroom is filthy no hot water whole place is a joke!!!

Booked a last minute car rental. Showed up 3 hours after receiving the confirmation to pick up the car only to find out they didnāt have any cars available.
Why have a website that allows you to think you have a car waiting to find out that you donāt?
A call would have been nice before I packed and arrived anticipating leaving town.

The Lafayette Indiana Hertz does not offer onsite parking. Make sure to plan ahead before picking up your rental.
