Excellent location - super easy to get to. One of the more unusual layouts I've encountered at a Homewood Suites (typically very good). The rooms are in a separate building form where check-in and breakfast buffet is. It's very close to another chain's hotel and easy to confuse which building you're going to. Breakfast was fine. As an overnight/1 night business traveler I was hoping for a late check-out (2PM) to accommodate a meeting but the person at the front desk seemed confused by the request, despite it seeming like the hotel was largely empty. I literally saw 1 other guest the whole day. Internet access was spotty (dropped in the middle of a meeting) but decent speed when connected. It went down at least twice while I was there. Hotel in general could use an update but was mostly clean. Room was quiet and climate controls were effective. If you're traveling for business, you could do worse for the price.

I really enjoyed my stay while in town for work. This was my first time staying at a Homewood Suites and I really enjoyed it. The room was incredibly spacious and clean. It had a dining area and kitchen; a living room, large bedroom with a king size bed and TV. All of the hotel staff I interacted with throughout my stay were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast every mornings was always delicious. They had washer and dryers on-site for laundry as well as a fitness room with treadmills, free weights, and a Peloton bike!

Great location. Off Highway but not a lot of traffic noise in the room. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was fine. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, bagels.Overall not a bad experience. However, left my personal pillow on the bed, called shortly after check out. Oddly enough, no pillow could be found. Guessing this is polite way of saying, housekeeping pitched it.Noteworthy details: Common areas very clean.

The rooms are really dated. It is very clean. They are also not the biggest rooms either. I did appreciate all the little touches to make the room nice…. Like the little towel animals and how the towels were folded. The main lobby area is renovated and there is a comprehensive breakfast. Standard extended stay fare.

We were in town for the weekend to visit our son and go to a Purdue football game. The location is close to many restaurants. We recommend Mountain Jacks; it is a little pricey, but great food. This was our 2nd time staying here. The 1st time was when we toured Purdue. The room was extremely clean and there was minimal signs of wear. Cathy at the front desk was so friendly and personable; whoever answered the night before (never got her name) was not friendly or helpful. The only down side was the breakfast. It was well-maintained and clean, but the scrambled eggs and turkey sausage were not great. I should have just done the typical make-your-own waffle. Again, it is a very clean hotel, and we would come again.

This hotel has a setup that reminds me more of resort hotels in the south - more rooms opening to outside or covered by external stairways. They have an outdoor pool and an outdoor basketball court, along with a central grassy area and outdoor eating space. Very pleasant setup. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond even when asked a brief hypothetical question.

Once we arrived, wet carpets near the bathroom, fake eye lashes still in the shower. Q tips on the chair dining room. Smells like someone had a party. Someone covered the fire detector. Finger prints on all TV. Toilet clogged up. I'm not happy at all. Horrible experience.

They were so nice and accommodating. They were really booked up, but still were able to find a room for me on short notice! Thank you, from a very tired nurse who just wanted to sleep!!!

We arrived at midnight after 8 hours flight and 1.5 hr drive from IND airport. The room had a horrible mold smell as we walked in. When we put down our suitcases and went to wash our hands, we came back to see the entire wall of the seating area was covered in 100s ants, crawling on our luggages. Front desk was not helpful as they were sold out due to the start of fall semester weekend. We had to call. 5. hotels to. find a. room at 2:00 am. They told us they won't deduct points from our account but I am still. waiting to see the points back. For a night, it took 40K points, oh and they offered 10K points for the trouble, this was almost like an insult. Ay any rate that is not even deposited into our HH account yet. STAY AWAY.

BUGS!!!! We recently visited Homewood Suites by Hilton Lafayette for a family vacation and had a disturbing and uncomfortable stay. Throughout the whole vacation I felt our personal plans were constantly being changed to accommodate the hotel staff / services. For example, we would call to request room service and make plans to be gone all day with our young children so that they could service the room while we were not present. We would arrive late afternoon ready for the kids naps and they had never serviced our room. We were told they would come later so we had to now make new plans to go do something else with the kids and be gone even longer again for them to clean when all we wanted was a quiet relaxing night in the hotel room. This was very inconvenient as a family of 5 traveling with young children. This happened on several occasions, and because our room would not get serviced as requested we were constantly calling and having to request bathroom towels. Half way through our trip we came home one evening and noticed ants crawling on the sofa. They offered to spray the room, which we weren't fond of the idea of exposing our kids to these chemicals but the only other option was to switch rooms, it was later in the evening and as large family traveling with many things this was not convenient either to try to move rooms at bedtime ; so we had to opt for the spray. Again, we had to leave the room at the request of the hotel for this spray when my kids should have been getting ready for bed. I don't know if they even sprayed because we woke up and the ants were infested everywhere! Crawling on my children, in our beds, in our suitcases. They had multiplied and migrated everywhere. It was disgusting! We had no choice but to switch rooms, but there were no rooms available. Now I was left with my children and no room while we waited several hours for someone to check out! We had to nap and eat lunch in the car. This completely yet again changed the course of our day and what we had wanted to do while visiting Lafayette. What a trip. They reimbursed us one night but the whole trip was extremely uncomfortable due to these experiences and being forced to change our plans and constantly leave the room! I would definitely not recommend this hotel. I filed a complaint regarding this and never heard back from anyone, it took me several follow ups and I was told the GM would call us. We never heard from the GM. I called again and later told the case was closed. Very disappointed in this whole experience, not what I would have expected from customer care at a Hilton.

I had a great experience. The room was great. It had the cutest kitchenette. I loved the layout. Everything was clean. It was a pretty room. The staff was so nice! I actually wanted to stay longer and I am not always a fan of hotels.

Older hotel, but still in great shape. We really appreciate the apartment feel for longer stays. The breakfast is very good for a free hotel breakfast, if you leave hungry, its your fault. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Staff was friendly, room was clean, beds were comfy and pool was relaxing. Paid extra for a king bed fireplace suite only to find out they had the fireplaces turned off so couldn’t be used. Wish that was mentioned during booking. Also woke up to SEVERAL bug bites on my legs and ankles from what I’m assuming to be flea bites. Though I don’t have a 4 legged travel companion I love that this hotel is pet friendly. I do feel some extra cleaning and precautions should be in place for the rooms that hosted our little best friends. Otherwise happy with the stay!

Stinking Carpets, Dirty Upholstery, Poor quality of breakfast, Rusted and squeaking stair, clogged plumbing, worn out bed linen, worst experience ever in any Homewood property.
