Given the time of year my bike was serviced pretty quickly. I know lots of people get their bikes in for upgrades or for things that take a while to accomplish mechanically during the winter months so the shop was pretty busy. That being said they were still able to expedite the service of my bike so I could get it back home while their was a lull in the weather.

Do NOT waste your time or money on this place. Upon arrival there were several people standing by the entrance and not a single employee approached us to help. We came to look at a used Honda XR150 and had to go inside to find someone to talk to. Then, as we were discussing the used option vs new, another customer walks in and asks to see the used Honda outside. The sales lady literally walked away from us to go show the same bike we were looking at to someone else and then walked past us to take him to the sales counter without saying a word to us when we were there first and hadn’t made a decision yet. They obviously DO NOT operate on a first come first serve basis or care about their customers. Never felt so disrespected in my entire life.

Great service! I was able to get my Scout to Maine and back with ease and worry free. They did my 15k for a good price and finished within a day of bringing it in. I highly recommend this joint.

Christine provided a warm professional experience when buying my 2017 Chief Vintage. I would definitely recommend working with her and choosing Indian of Lafayette for you next Indian purchase. Entire staff was very welcoming. They have allowed me to delay delivery of my bike until weather is more fit for riding. A very positive experience all the way around!

I brought my 2016 Indian Scout here for a basic oil change and coolant reservoir replacement. They offered an inspection along with the oil change so I had them do that as well. The total for all this was $556. The bike was running fine when I dropped it off. They said they would call me if they couldn’t get it done (seemed backwards but ok). I never got a call so I stopped in the next day, an hour before they closed to pick it up. The work was completed but when they tried to start my bike, it wouldn’t start. They told me my solenoid was “burnt up” and claimed it was because of the Duracell battery I had just purchased at Batteries Plus. (Side note: I later had that same battery retested at Batteries Plus — it tested great.) They quoted $167 to replace the solenoid. I told them I would replace it bc it was only a $14 part and only takes 2 minutes to replace. I asked them to charge the battery so it could be jumped and I would pick it up the following day.
The following day they called me claiming my starter was “burnt up” too — this time quoting $1,100. When I questioned it, the “discounted deal” was $900. I had them tow my bike home instead, which they wanted to charge me for also. I pushed back since I drove it there working. They towed it back with no expense.
I called Crossroads in Lafayette who came and picked up my bike from the house, replaced the starter and even found a loose exhaust baffle that Indian never mentioned. They fixed everything for about $350 total (parts + labor),
Indian nearly charged me thousands for unnecessary repairs. Crossroads was honest, affordable, and got it right. I won’t be returning to Indian.

The staff at Tom Wood knocked it out of the park for me on my Can-Am Defender purchase. During the whole process I never felt like I was being ignored/shrugged off. Christine was very nice, understanding and professional. Bob did an excellent job breaking down the deal and guiding me through the process. The rest of the staff go out of their way to make you feel like family. I would recommend Tom Wood to anybody in the market for a new/used bike, ATV or SXS. I look forward to making my next purchase from them in the future.
