My dad had a very severe car accident on February 9, 2024, he had several fractures (ribs, sternum, Talus bone and torn alkyl tendon, so I need physical therapy before leaving the hospital. In this sense, I would like to highlight the great work carried out by the girls in charge of helping him with this therapy.Ally(OT)Bridget(PT)They are like a light of hope when you are by their side, their empathy, their patience, their kindness, their "JOY", their professionalism, all these virtues make you forget the bad time you are going through, whether due to pain or discomfort due to injuries or the moment of being in a hospital that no one would want to go through this, then you try to do what they guide you in the way you can. I really have to recognize their work as it is performed, they make you feel like family and At that moment you are only focused on improving. We were really happy with their presence and sad when the weekend arrived and I knew that you weren't going to see them until next week. They are a phenomenal duo.Quite the contrary, the work of the nurses is a little better in the progressive care room, some work a little better than others, a little interaction with them perhaps because the patient is more cared for, but in the normal room where the patient is already discharged, I didn't like it at all. They take a long time to get to the room when required, they work as if they would not like to be there, they do not show empathy, there is very little nurse-patient relationship. The day my dad was discharged, I arrived early in the morning and came to meet the nurse on duty a couple of hours before we left.

Fair. I do not think being put in a tent for ER SERVICE is appropriate!Build more ER CLOSED DOOR ROOMS and charge appropriately!!!

All staff we interacted with were quite helpful, thorough in their work, and pleasant in their interactions with us. In particular Dr Aaron Villarreal spent extra time with our family to discuss our mothers condition, adjust her medications, and explore options for her treatment going forward. We were quite impressed with the quality of care she received at IU Arnett

I used to love this hospital. I used to have full confidence in the care I/my loved ones would receive. I'm not sure what has happened in the last 5 years, but care, and especially empathy, have tanked. I'm currently sitting in the emergency room with a family member who cannot breathe. It took 5.5 HOURS with him gasping for breath for them to offer a BiPAP machine, and they only did after I specifically asked for one. It took asking, begging, for help 3 times before someone finally cared enough to help him. We were told he's being admitted to the hospital 3 hours ago. Yet here we still are in the ER. Only a few of the nurses/doctors/techs have acted like they care about his comfort. The rest acted like they were only here to keep him alive, not comfortable. Screw you IU for letting a dying old man suffer unnecessarily. How you can watch someone gasp for breath for hours and do NOTHING is a concept I can't even fathom. Oh, and there's blood all over the floor in here. My family member has not bled, so this room is contaminated with blood from a previous patient. And the nurse admitted they don't follow Covid protocols when i asked if his Covid test results came back negative. What is going on at this hospital???

My procedure and hospital stay went very well. Dr. Jeffrey Meyers is a kind and great Doctor. And the nurses Erin, Loren and Megan were phenomenal women. They helped me with my discomforts, discussed my medications to me, gave me breathing techniques to prevent lung issues and just were very caring people.

Every nurse helped me feel comfortable as they cared for all my medical and personal needs. I was always confident someone would respond quickly whenever I called for assistance

Not sure how I feel about this hospital. On one hand its staff has performed life Saving measures on more than one occasion. Nursing staff can range from fair to most excellent. The main thing is there can be a lack of solid communication between medical staff and the patient and patient family. This can lead to confusion, concern, and frustration. A patient can be told that a specialist will come in to consult on a medical condition such as neurology, then no one from neurology ever shows up during the hospital stay and no referral is given at check out. Another example is that PT can be ordered and when they get in the room all they do is ask if the patient can walk. How exactly is that PT? Of course the patient is billed for physical therapy. Something such as ensure is ordered for extra nutrition but it never shows up. A patient can be told they have one more nights stay and in the middle of the night they are moved to an entire different floor with no explanation and no notice to family. Some of the nurses will tell a patient to walk and the next nurse on shift will order the patient to be on strict bed rest with no reason, no change in patient’s medical condition. Some nurses can be quite flippant, while others are simply the best. They also do not wheelchair out all of the patients that are being released. The front doesn’t know which way the back is going and that confusing. I guess if you get out alive that’s a good thing.

The past few years have not been easy ones for health care workers. There's a shortage nationwide. That being said, health care administrators including IU Health Arnett should enable their workers to do better. The IU Hospital in Indianapolis is much better.

Took my 5 year old in to the ER at 6:40pm with a 2 inch wide 1 1/2 in deep slit on his chin. When we checked in they said they had 25 open rooms and would start calling people back. We sat in the waiting room for 3 1/2 hours. When we went to ask what the wait time would be Tiffany at the desk was very rude. My 5 year old son was still bleeding. No one checked on him or looked his way. My husband went to tell her that we were checking out to take him to different hospital and she was NASTY with him. On our way out I checked to make sure they removed him from the system and Tiffany said “yes. But where are you taking him. The other hospitals are full. You’re not going to get better care anywhere else. This isn’t an emergency” we drove him to a different hospital. They immediately took him back and gave him stitches. They could not believe that he wasn’t prioritized with an gaping wound on his face dripping blood for 3 1/2 hours.

I had an excellent experience with the birth of my baby at IU. Would definitely go back to IU if I were to have another child. Very thankful for all the support!

Nurses in oncology outpatient surgery, especially Nicole & Chris were fantastic!! Made a situation that sucks sooo much bearable. Hat's off to everyone that helped me with my IV port surgery. Don't know how they can deal with cancer patients every day and maintain their composure and smile? Glad they do. Thanks again Ladies. Danny

Don't get labs here. I was 1st in line and they called back everybody else and just ignored me. The lab literally has no clue what's going on. I had to call them to get them to fax the results to my Dr. They left out the tb test and failed to mention to me the machine was broken. I finally call again and the lady says oh well send it right out. STILL haven't sent it. Called AGAIN they mentioned some hippa law and my Dr has to call them. Well then how the hell you send out all the other results?! Isn't that what a lab does?! Send lab results?! Also been leaving messages on their billing line to send me a copy of my bill for insurance and they just straight up don't do their job. Most unprofessional place I've been.
