I urge anyone reading this to read it all. It's long, but a wild ride.TL;DR: Properties are old and falling apart and animals live in the walls and ceilings, sometimes making their way into the living space. Landlord company doesn't care and doesn't do even the bare minimum.I'm not one to leave one star reviews...but frankly I have no other choice. The single positive I can name is that the rent itself isn't absolutely crazy. Aside from that, the negatives don't seem to stop. I'll start with the house itself. I'll be blunt; the house is VERY old. It seems that only a few things have been changed since the supposed build date in 1890 (according to Zillow). The flooring isn't bad, and is one the reasons my roommates and I chose this place. But the rest...not so much. The ceilings are either, stained, cracked, or outright falling apart. Yep. In one of the rooms, the ceiling has several large cracks near the rear wall where water leaks every. single. time. it rains. Light or not. And because of this, pieces fall every once in a while, and the water you collect is vile. According to one of the repairmen (who was there for other reasons), the whole roof has needed to be replaced for a while now. In order to prevent the ceiling from collapsing in that room, there are a couple of 2x4s just screwed into the rafters of the ceiling, quite an eyesore in that room. The worst of it is that this has been like this for YEARS. I stayed at this particular location for 2 years, and the state of that ceiling was like this the year prior as well when I went to view it. Moving on, the stairs on the outside of the house seem ancient and all have some form of splitting or cracking. Some were so bad it felt as if they may break towards the bottom of the steps. So we complained, the only thing that was done, a month later, was to change two of the steps. Two. Good enough, right?... There are plenty of other issues with the building itself, but those are the main ones.Now...what I think is the worst of it. The ANIMALS. Bats, raccoons, possums. It started with hearing what I at the time speculated were bats in the upstairs WALLS. Later heard in the ceiling. After a bit I thought they were gone, but then on 2 separate occasions a bat made its way INTO the house...but not from an open door or window...from INSIDE the house. I have to assume its the ceiling, as there are several holes I could see in the upstairs bathroom where they could come from. I contacted the landlord about this several times (one time I was told via text to simply place the bat in a box and take it outside, no return call) and even went to their office to explain the situation and I was told it would be taken care of. Nothing was done. Towards the end of my stay, the bats made their way into the downstairs ceiling/upstairs floor, as one night I was in the bathroom upstairs and there was a constant scratching and squeaking of bats coming from directly underneath the shower...On another occasion, a possum made it's way into the house via a large, uncovered hole under the downstairs sink. Took a long time to get it out, and when we told the landlord, we were accused of bringing it in ourselves...And finally, the raccoons in the upstairs ceiling. I don't have explicit proof that they are in fact raccoons, but it is my best guess for the constant running sounds, scurrying, bumping, etc I kept hearing at night right above my room. It was not a small animal; it sounded like a small/medium-sized dog running back and forth. Justttt wonderful. All of this could MAYBE have been forgiven if the landlord ever did anything about these issues, but unfortunately, nothing was done. I rented from this company for 3 years (2 different houses), and all I can say is I am so glad I am out of there. Incredibly unprofessional, unresponsive, cheap, and apathetic landlords. They do not care. If you have made it this far reading this, please, PLEASE heed my warning, it will be miserable if you live with this company, even if you find a somewhat livable

Renting with this company was a horrible experience that included ceilings that were about to cave in, bats flying around our house, and opossums crawling inside the house through unpatched holes. For the amount of money you are paying, you can find a better landlord.

Same issues as many other tenants have pointed out. Leo's rental business (Kay Lee LLC) takes advantage of college students by taking most of their security deposits for non-existent damages. I knew the prior and post tenants of the apartment I rented. All 3 of us got charged for stupid stuff like water damage on the ceiling that was obviously caused by a leaky roof... Avoid this scammer if you can.

Horrible landlord. DO NOT EVER RENT FROM HIM! I wouldn't trust this man with my taxes. He sure know's how to take advantage of college students by not giving them their security deposit back. Clearly this guy is out to just take college students money. I wouldn't even bother cleaning the house after you move out because he'll end up charging you $30 for light bulbs that happen to burn out, $30 for cobwebs in the basement that were already there upon move in. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS GUY! TOTAL SCAM AND A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

We've been with Klemme & Co for the past several years. Leo Klemme successfully bailed us out from a fast approaching IRS audit when our previous CPA failed to respond or return calls. Mr. Klemme meticulously reviewed several years of returns, both personal & business, leaving no stone unturned. The entire Klemme Team have been awesome to work with. They've been readily available, prompt and have continued to understand us & pull together our needs.

Leo Klemme, property manager, had made me and my housemates (six total) an offer of $425/per member over email and rather than honoring that agreement went back on the deal to offer $450/per member despite the current tenets paying $400/per member. He was unprofessional, uninformed, and proceeded to hang up on me after I attempted to negotiate price with him. Find your business elsewhere.

I chose Klemme & Co. after being dissatisfied with another accountant. Klemme & Co. is very professional and helpful particularly since my tax returns have become more complicated. They have provided me with GREAT advise on my taxes & investment opportunities. I highly recommend them!!
