I had a great experience at the Mercedes-Benz of Lafayette. Dave Duncan was professional, patient, and very knowledgeable — he clearly explained the repair process and kept me updated throughout. I also want to thank the maintenance team for their excellent work and attention to detail. My car was well taken care of, and I truly appreciate their professionalism and dedication. Highly recommend their service!

UPDATE: I emailed the manager and provided contact information as requested and NEVER got a response or phone call. His responses to peoples reviews are all talk.
Unfortunately due to recent events, we will never purchase another vehicle from Mercedes of Lafayette, nor use the dealership for servicing our Mercedes. My partner and I have owned anything and everything from Land Rover, Cadillac, Lincoln, and even Porsche, however, Mercedes has always been my partners favorite brand and he has owned several in his lifetime. Recently, we opted for a 2017 E-Class at Mercedes of Lafayette with low miles because it was a beautiful car for the money. Here’s the problem, when we agreed to purchase the car we were told the car needed to go through service, be detailed, and have a trim piece replaced before we could take ownership of the car. This sounded wonderful to us and made us believe the dealership took pride in the vehicles they sold, including their used vehicles. Upon picking up the car, I noticed the trim piece had not been replaced as previously discussed. It was a rusty Mercedes-Benz door plate on the drivers side. When I asked the salesman why it had not been replaced, he looked at me as if I were beneath him for buying a used car and said “You are buying a used vehicle.” His attitude was cocky and of arrogance. My partner and I opted to brush off his comment and continue with the purchase because we were in fact buying a used car and we liked the vehicle. We also noticed the car had never been detailed as promised because the carpets had salt stains and the car had not been vacuumed out, including the trunk. All of this was frustrating, but minor so we didn’t think much of it even though we had been told the trim piece would be replaced and the car would be detailed prior to us taking ownership. This is where things get very shady. When we started the car and left the dealership, there were no engine lights on. We got about 30 miles down the road and the tire pressure monitor came on. We didn’t think much of it at the time and decided we would contact Mercedes of Lafayette and have it looked at. When we took the car back to Mercedes of Lafayette, the service department told us that not a single wheel on the car had tire pressure sensors and was going to cost $1300 for parts and labor. Now remember we were told this car had to go through service before we could take ownership of the vehicle. We were never told by Mercedes of Lafayette anything about the car not having sensors on the wheels during the purchase process and the tire pressure monitoring light did not come on during our initial test drive or when leaving the dealership after purchasing the vehicle. I find it interesting that the light on the dashboard has been on since then and illuminates as soon as you start the car. The only way the light wouldn’t have been on when test driving the car or after purchasing the vehicle is if the dealership cleared the codes on the vehicle and left it in park. Once the codes are cleared, it takes awhile for the car to register the missing sensors, hence the code not popping up until we had driven around 30 miles. My partner and I understand we did buy a used car. The issue comes down to this dealer knew the car did not have sensors and cleared the codes so they would not get stuck with the bill to repair it and blatantly failed to disclose the car needed sensors. In addition we were told they would look for the spare key and let us know when we could come pick it up. They never “found” one and a replacement key is about $800. That’s bad business. That’s shady business. I would not trust to ever buy another car from Mercedes of Lafayette because it is apparent they will cover up known problems to ensure the sale of a vehicle and maximize profit over being transparent and valuing their customers business.

I had an excellent experience at Mercedes-Benz of Lafayette, I brought my car in for a tire change, and the entire process was quick, smooth, and efficient. The staff was professional and made everything easy from start to finish. I couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you for the great service!

Booked a month ahead for a July 23, 2025 pre–road-trip service on a Mercedes that sat 5 months. They canceled 3 hours before, pushed me to July 25, then told me they “don’t have time” and regular service is “only Tue/Thu.” Totally unprofessional, zero ownership of their screw-up, and no sense of safety liability. If you care about safety, scheduling reliability, or basic professionalism, go somewhere else. I’m finishing the service in another city because I can’t trust this store to do the bare minimum without wasting my time.

I had a terrible experience trying to a car from this dealership. The only word I can use is shady!!!! I signed an offer to purchase and was then told they couldn't sell me the car because I was a Canadian who wintered in Phoenix and that I needed to have a US. tax return and Social Security no. That was the last excuse. The one before that was they couldn't sell a Canadian a car because I might import it into Canada and they would get in trouble for that. They were constantly changing the rules and their company policy. Something really smells. It's buyer beware with these folks. I had to check off one star to post this review. I wouldn't even give them that

I bought a new Mercedes at this location. Every step of the process was enjoyable. Sales manager Dean was very friendly with no sales pressure. He knew his vehicles and processes, and communicated information in a way that was easy to understand. The used car manager and general manager were also friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend buying a car here.
