They have over doubled payment per each month!!! Very poor service!!!! I had internet, cable and landline phone service!! At first, it was only $125 a month for all 3!! I finally cancelled the cable. It had gone up to $261 a month for all 3. I recently received an e-mail that it was going up another $20 a month!! It also had very poor reception!! Since I cancelled the cable, it have Friendly and Hulu!! I only really need Hulu, as they also have the Hallmark channels, plus the nightly news and Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!! It only costs around $75 a month. I still have the WIFI, internet and landline!! It's only $90 for all of that!!

Customer service in person is decent. Customer service overall is awful. Every time I have called or used the online chat to ask a question or attempt to solve a problem, I get ten different unhelpful answers, none of which ever match what I was told in person, and all of which seem aimed at costing me more money. I hate that the fee structure is not clearly stated and straightforward. Instead there's the fun game of "Why is this invoice different from the last one?" or "Why do I have a new invoice when I've already paid this month's bill?" You can earn a credit for X, Y, or Z, but you'll never see it appear on your account. You can get a student discount, which is cool, but maybe not, depending on who you talk to. Oh, but there's a new fun promotion going on if you want to change to a different level and pay for installation again! Still cheaper than Comcast (I think?) but FRUSTRATING.

Installation was quick from the time I called to switched to Metronet to installation. . When I called about prices, the young lady thought I was ordering a plan that was more than I needed and suggested a cheaper plan. Seriously, when does that ever happen! They came out and hooked it up to my house within a couple days and buried the cable in less than a week with no visible tracks. I haven’t checked the very front by the sidewalk yet, but I didn’t notice any problems. My picture is much better on my TV and so far very reliable. I’ve just had it with the cable company here, so this has been wonderful. Every single employee I talked to, on the phone or in person, was super helpful and knowledgeable. Wish I done this sooner.

Well this Internet service seems to work fine most of the time, except during peak times like evenings and Sunday afternoons. If you want to change your service or move your service, you may be in for quite a fiasco. If you try and call any posted number you will get the same auto attendant spewing the same message. There is no direction to get to customer service. If you finally get to talk to somebody, they say they don’t handle that and put you on hold while they transfer you nowhere. The call finally hangs up and you don’t even care because you don’t have to listen to the extremely loud annoying music on hold anymore.If you continue to call for help you will eventually run into somebody that actually knows what’s going on. I do believe their entire staff works from home since you can hear little kids running around and yelling in the background. Just another Internet provider with the same problems they all have. Minimal staff, with inadequate training and poor management controlled by greedy executives. What else is new America?

Got connected within two days of my phone call to Metronet. Installation exactly as promised. I work from home and depend on internet. Highly recommend.

So we had Metronet for a long time and it used to be good then our internet went out. Then for almost 3 months they constantly said they were going to send someone to the house to fix but they would ether never show up, tell us they would come Sunday (they are closed), they had an update fail so needed to wait another day, they needed to wait for a new shipment of the boxes and so on. We canceled but wanted to try again and right out the gate they scheduled for Sunday... again they are closed. I don't know what is wrong with internet providers nowadays but someone has issues meaning no internet for 3+ months is an issue.

Metronet is a local I s p. I have been trying to get them in my condo for years. I stopped by there last week. The physical office I mean, and was given a phone number to call. I called that number and left a message and not one person has called me back.

Usually, everything is great, and had you asked me a few months ago, I would have rated five stars and wholeheartedly recommended the company. Unfortunately, though, the internet for our house has been down for a bit over five weeks now and there has been a great amount of drama involved in trying to get someone over. I've really grown quite sick of it.

This company stole our money! We had NO contract with them and called to end our service! Then we find out three months later they've been billing us for internet to an empty building! We hadn't been able to return our equipment, because we physically weren't there, so instead of fining us for the unreturned equipment and being done with it, they just refused to cancel our service! We called them; they threatened us! We contacted them on Facebook; they blocked us! Absolutely terrible predatory company; stick with Xfinity, they suck, but at least they don't steal from you!

When MetroNet functions, it functions great. However, when it fails, it fails just as well. When contacting customer service, one shouldn't expect a response right away.Dependability = 5/10.Customers Service = 4/10.
